The Pacific Grove High School Model United Nations Summer Camp is a three-day academic leadership program designed for students in grades 6–9 who want to build confidence, public speaking skills, and an understanding of global issues. Led by experienced PGHS Model UN student leaders and supervised by a faculty advisor, the camp introduces students to debate, diplomacy, teamwork, and resolution writing through interactive workshops and small-group activities. Over the course of the program, students progress from beginner training to participating in a full Model UN General Assembly simulation on the final day. With a small enrollment, strong supervision, and a structured schedule, the camp provides a supportive environment where students can learn, collaborate, and develop leadership skills while experiencing what it is like to represent countries and solve real-world global challenges.

The Pacific Grove High School Model United Nations team is a student-led team of passionate, aspiring kids with ideas much bigger than their town. Through Model UN, we step into the role of diplomats to debate global challenges, practice diplomacy, and build solutions for a better world.
Our team brings together students interested in international affairs, leadership, and public speaking. By participating in conferences and simulations across the country, we learn how countries collaborate, negotiate, and address important global issues in real-world settings.
We are all incredibly excited and honored to host a 3-day youth MUN summer camp for your kids! We hope to improve their public speaking and debate skills, teach them how to participate and prepare for MUN conferences, and, of course, expand their overall views and understanding of how Nations work together to solve world challenges.
By registering for PGMUN Camp, you support the Pacific Grove Model United Nations Club in paying for conference fees, travel expenses, and future community events.
