This website has been created to meet the requirements for TDT1 at Western Governors University. Navigate through the course by clicking the tabs above i.e. Information Page, Graphics Instructional Materials, etc.

Instructions for making a Google Sites:

1. Log into google email

2. In the Google Waffle, navigate to the Google Drive, once you are there, click on “More”

3. Click on “Google Sites”

4. Type in your chosen site name at the top left corner where it says “Enter site name”

5. Add information to your website

-To add pages to your site, click “Pages” and click on the + button at the bottom and type in your wanted page name

-Move pages around in the pages tab by simply clicking and dragging where you want them located

-Insert images, links, and videos by clicking on the “insert” button on the right side of the screen

-Change themes and colors of your site by clicking on “Themes” on the right side of the screen

6. For changes to be updated, you will need to click publish on the top right corner of the screen

-Type in wanted website URL (You may have to try several names because this URL must be unique to your website)

-To edit viewing preferences, click on manage after pressing publish. Select the audience you want to view your site and if you want to give them access to edit your website.

7. To send out a published site to others, click “Copy Published Site Link” at the top of the page and copy page.

8. To ensure that your viewing preferences are correct, open a new incognito window and see if everything on your website is viewable.

9. Each time you edit your website, you will need to publish the site for others to see the changes
