1. PRIVACY POLICY
Data Collection NomadNode collects the following information to provide and improve the PetTrack application:
Personal Information: Email address, display name, and profile picture (via Google Sign-in or manual entry).
Pet Information: Pet names, breeds, weight, health records, and photos.
Location Data: We collect precise location data (GPS) only when you actively use the "Live Walk" feature or report a pet in the "Lost & Found Network". Background location is only used if explicitly granted for live tracking. Anonymized and aggregated location data may also be used by the system administrators to generate operational features like 'Disease/Danger Heatmaps' to keep the community safe.
System Administration & Analytics: To maintain the platform's security, provide customer support, and monitor community health, system administrators may access user profiles and pet data.
Data Storage and Security All collected data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and pet data.
Data Sharing We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared internally within the app's ecosystem (e.g., if you publish a lost pet alert, other users will see the contact info you provided).
Third-Party Services While we do not sell your data, we use trusted third-party services (such as Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and RevenueCat) to manage databases, process subscriptions, and serve ads. These services may collect anonymous usage data, device identifiers, or crash reports according to their own privacy policies.
Data Deletion You have the right to request the deletion of your data. You can delete your account and all associated data (including pets, walks, and photos) permanently by navigating to the "Settings" menu inside the app and clicking "Delete Account".
2. TERMS OF SERVICE
Acceptance of Terms By downloading or using the PetTrack app, these terms will automatically apply to you.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
The "Lost & Found" network relies on user-generated content. NomadNode is not responsible for the accuracy of lost pet alerts, community reports, or interactions between users.
You agree not to upload any inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content (including photos and text).
Premium Subscriptions (Pro Version) Purchases made for the "PetTrack PRO" version are tied to your specific Google/Apple account. These purchases are non-transferable.
Modification of Features NomadNode reserves the right to add, modify, limit, or discontinue specific features within the application—particularly resource-intensive functionalities such as community features, media uploads, or the "Lost & Found" network—at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Changes to This Policy We may update our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
