Developed with C# in Unity 3D, Level Construction Machine is a 2D sketch/design tool for 3D Scenes. It allows users to design and create 3D Scenes from a top view simplifying the workflow.

Level Construction Machine Tool can be used for any genre. It provides a customization option for the grid canvas space and the key bindings. The user can choose at any time if they want the objects to be snapped into the cells or move them freely.

Features

- Design/Create 3D environments by placing/modifying instances of prefabs in a 2D infinite grid space without instantiating GameObjects in the current Scene.

- Add notes anywhere on the grid with a special Inspector that lets you modify the size,

the color, the orientation and the font based on a carefully curated collection of fonts that are free to use both commercially or not.

- Place a world camera wherever you want or need and render a 3D preview directly inside

the tool. Realtime changes can be seen by changing values in the inspector of the selected

object.

- Key bindings can be changed through a popup window

- Import/Export the state of a project

- Generate the result Scene inside a parent gameObject with a custom name

- Implemented using IMGUI and can easily expanded to fit your needs.
