Peter Zimmerman

I am a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.  I completed my PhD in Financial Economics at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School in 2019.  Until April 2020, I was a Senior Economist at the Bank of England. 

My research interests are cryptocurrencies, payments, bank risk and regulation, and financial exclusion. My work has been published in various leading journals.

I co-organise the Cleveland Fed's annual Financial Stability conference.
