“People always go looking for unicorns when we got rhinos.”
Lodge 49, Season 1, Episode 4

As a thought leader, educator, speaker, and writer I strive to offer another way to see how a business and its people fit into society. Rather than looking at the “big picture”, I teach leaders how to see the picture from a different angle, and how their team’s role in addressing each business need is fulfilled.
With a background that has toggled between teaching and security, starting as an adult education instructor in 1999 and logistics and warehouse loss prevention agent in 2004, I combined my professional areas of expertise while working for SIS when I transferred from operations to the training department.
I regularly publish articles in, eLearning Industry, and have published on, Training Industry, and with the ASHI and MEDIC First Aid blog. My article Hybrid Classes: Minimizing Butts On A Budget made eLearning Industry’s Guest Author Article Showcase [December 2022].
While completing the master’s degree in education (M.Ed.) at Springfield College, I served in AmeriCorps engaging in capacity building and academic coaching. Many of the lessons I learned during my time in national service have carried over to my professional life.
