Peter Jones

Welcome! I am an applied microeconomist interested in psychology and economics (aka behavioral economics). I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. My research aims to identify circumstances in which, and to understand how, established cognitive biases affect decision-making in field settings. Accordingly, I leverage theory motivated by psychology to understand empirical evidence in various settings, including Household and Consumer Finance, Housing Markets, and Public Economics.
