Most of the App's general agricultural information and tools can be used without signing in.

However, an account/login is required when a user wants to use certain account-based services, including placing an order through the in-app store.

Authentication-related information may be processed through the App's authentication system and backend services.

Passwords are not intentionally stored by AR Technologies in plain text on the user's device.

1.5 Device Identifier

The application may collect or process an Android device identifier associated with the user's account.

The device identifier is used for account security and enforcement of the application's single-device login policy.

It may be used to:

Prevent unauthorized use of the same account on multiple devices
Detect login attempts from another device
Maintain the application's single-device account security mechanism

The device identifier used for the application's account-security mechanism is not intentionally used by AR Technologies for advertising purposes.

1.6 Location Information

The App may request access to the device's precise location when you use features that require location information.

Location may be used for:

GPS-based land measurement
Local weather information
Location-related agricultural features
Providing relevant agricultural information based on location

Location permission is requested only when a feature requires it.

You can deny or revoke location permission through Android device settings. Features that require location may not function correctly when permission is denied.

Where necessary for a particular feature, location information may be transmitted to the relevant service provider to provide that feature, such as weather or map-related services.

1.7 Camera

The App may request camera permission for features such as QR-code scanning related to pesticide or product information.

Camera access is used only when you activate the relevant scanning feature.

The App does not require continuous camera access.

1.8 Device and Technical Information

The App and its third-party service providers may process technical information required to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Depending on the services and features used, this may include:

Application configuration
Crash information
Diagnostic information

For example, information required for account creation, authentication, password recovery, or product ordering may be transmitted to AR Technologies' backend systems.

Third-party services such as Google services, Firebase, AdMob, OneSignal, and mapping services may process information according to their respective privacy policies and technical practices.

We seek to limit information processing and disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service or purpose.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Service, or others.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Security measures may include:

HTTPS for sensitive communications
Server-side authentication and authorization
Secure session management
Secure storage of authentication tokens on supported Android devices
Access controls on server systems
Reasonable technical safeguards for stored information

Authentication tokens and related sensitive session information may be stored on the Android device using secure storage mechanisms, including EncryptedSharedPreferences, where applicable.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Provide the Service
Maintain user accounts
Process and manage product orders
Provide requested features
Maintain application security
Prevent abuse or unauthorized access
Resolve disputes
Comply with applicable legal obligations

When an account deletion request is successfully processed, personal information associated with the account will be deleted from active systems where reasonably possible.

Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law or where reasonably necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, order-record, or other lawful purposes.

7. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

7.1 In-App Account Deletion

Users can initiate account deletion from the account/dashboard section of the App using the Delete Account option.

The App sends the deletion request to the account server and performs appropriate local account-data cleanup.

7.2 External Account Deletion Request

Users can also request account deletion without using the App by submitting an account deletion request through the following web form:

The deletion request may require sufficient information to identify and verify the account before the request is processed.

For security reasons, AR Technologies may verify the request before deleting the account.

After a deletion request is verified and processed, the associated account and personal information will be deleted from active systems, subject to the retention exceptions described in this Privacy Policy.

Deleted accounts and associated information may not be recoverable.

8. Information Deleted

When an account deletion request is successfully processed, we intend to delete personal account information associated with that account, including, where applicable:

Name
Email address
Phone number
Account credentials or authentication-related account data
Device identifier associated with the account
Other personally identifiable account information maintained for the Service

Where applicable, account-related information associated with product orders may be handled according to the retention requirements described in Section 6.

Certain information may be retained where retention is required or permitted by law or is reasonably necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, accounting, order records, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

9. Location and Permission Controls

The App may request Android permissions for specific features.

These may include:

Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.

10. Cleartext Traffic for Public Images

Some public agricultural or product images used within the App may be hosted on legacy third-party servers that support HTTP connections.

Where such connections exist, they are intended for public, non-sensitive resources such as images.

Sensitive information, including:

Passwords
Authentication credentials
Authentication tokens
Personal account information
Payment-related information

is not intentionally transmitted through these HTTP image connections.

Sensitive application and account-related communications use HTTPS.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information from our active systems.

Users may control certain information and permissions through:

Most general agricultural information and tools can be accessed without creating an account.

Users may choose not to provide optional permissions such as location or camera access. However, features requiring those permissions may not function properly.

Users who do not create or use an account may still use the general features of the App, but an account/login is required to place an order through the in-app store.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, the revised policy will be published on this page and the effective date will be updated when appropriate.
