If you want a wearable audio option for gaming, choose Perytong Sleeping Headphones; if you need a way to carry your essentials while gaming on the go, choose Frenou Fanny Pack Women. They serve different purposes: one is a Bluetooth headband with speakers, and the other is a water-resistant waist bag with a headphone opening. For gaming, the Perytong is the direct audio choice; the Frenou is useful for carrying gear, not for producing sound.
• Perytong’s biggest strength: A washable Bluetooth headband with thin on-ear speaker discs, a built-in microphone, and up to 10 hours of playback. Its trade-off is that it is a fabric headband rather than a conventional gaming headset.
• Frenou’s biggest strength: A polyester bag with a spacious main pocket, two zippered pockets, an adjustable strap, and a headphone hole. Its trade-off is that it carries headphones or other essentials but is not itself an audio device.
• Perytong is for someone who wants wearable Bluetooth audio for casual gaming, sleep, relaxation, or exercise.
• Frenou is for someone who needs hands-free storage while walking, traveling, running, or carrying gaming-related essentials away from home.
Perytong is a soft fabric headband with thin on-ear speaker discs and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. It is designed for more than sleep: the stated uses include relaxation, meditation, yoga, running, and jogging. For gaming, that makes it a wearable audio alternative for someone who values a light, fabric-based design over a traditional headset with a rigid band. Its built-in microphone and controls also allow hands-free calls and basic track changes without reaching for a connected device.
The battery is specified for up to 10 hours of playback, with charging taking about 2 to 2.5 hours. That combination may suit a long evening of casual play or listening, though the sheet does not establish gaming-specific latency, surround sound, or microphone performance. Bluetooth range is listed as up to 45 feet, and the headband connects to Bluetooth phones and portable devices. The breathable mesh lining and stretch fit are intended to accommodate most head sizes. The speakers must be removed before washing, so cleaning is possible but requires that extra step.

This could be a fit for someone looking for the best rechargeable sleep headphones for gaming in a relaxed setting: the headband format is soft, wireless, rechargeable, and designed to be worn during rest as well as activity. It may also interest someone searching for open ear earbuds for gaming, but it is not a pair of earbuds; the speakers sit on the ears inside a headband. Likewise, it should not be mistaken for a kids headset for gaming: the listed age range is adult.
Who should skip it: Skip Perytong if you want a conventional gaming headset, need verified gaming-specific audio features, or are shopping for a child’s headset.
Frenou is a polyester fanny pack that can be worn as a waist bag, crossbody bag, shoulder bag, or sling bag. Its core job is storage, not sound. The main pocket is spacious, and there are front and back zippered pockets for separating smaller belongings. A key fob hook gives keys a designated place, while the adjustable strap reaches 118 centimeters. Those details make it a practical option when you want hands-free access to everyday items rather than pockets full of loose essentials.
The bag is described as water resistant, with reinforced stitching and a buckle fastening. That can be useful for ordinary outdoor activities such as walking, running, hiking, and travel, where some protection from moisture and a secure way to carry belongings matter. Water resistant does not mean waterproof, so I would not treat it as a substitute for a sealed dry bag. Its headphone hole lets a cable pass through, which is relevant if you use wired headphones and want to keep a device in the bag while listening. It does not provide Bluetooth audio or include headphones.
For gaming, Frenou makes more sense as a carry option around a trip, event, or outing than as gaming equipment. Someone heading out with a phone, keys, and other small essentials may appreciate the divided pockets and multiple wearing styles. But anyone looking for audio should choose a separate headphone product. The supplied details identify the material, pocket layout, and strap length, but do not give the bag’s overall dimensions or the capacity of each pocket, so fit for a particular device cannot be confirmed from those details alone.
Who should skip it: Skip Frenou if you need headphones, a gaming microphone, or a bag with a stated waterproof rating or precisely specified device fit.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for carrying keys, a phone, and small essentials → Frenou Fanny Pack Women. It provides a main pocket plus front and back zippered pockets, along with a key fob hook.
• Best for a rechargeable headband format → Perytong. Its stated playback time is up to 10 hours, and charging takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.
• Best for listening through a cable routed into a bag → Frenou. Its headphone hole is intended to pass through a headphone cable; it does not supply the audio device.
• Best for rest, naps, or relaxation as well as casual listening → Perytong. The fabric headband is designed for sleep and other low-key activities in addition to exercise.
• Best for several ways to carry belongings → Frenou. It can be worn as a waist, crossbody, shoulder, or sling bag.
• Best if you want something washable → Perytong, with a step to remember. Remove the speaker units before washing the fabric.
• Best for a buyer seeking a kids headset for gaming → Neither is a clear match. Perytong is listed for adults, and Frenou is a storage bag rather than a headset.
First, decide whether the missing piece in your setup is audio or storage. These products are not direct substitutes. Perytong is the relevant choice if you want a Bluetooth headband that can play audio; Frenou is relevant if you already have headphones and need a convenient way to carry belongings. A headphone hole on a bag does not make it a headset, and a headband with speakers does not carry your essentials.
For gaming, consider the type of session you have in mind. Perytong’s stated battery life and built-in microphone are useful features to weigh for casual, untethered listening, but the available specifications do not describe gaming latency or competitive-audio performance. If those details are essential, do not assume that a sleep-oriented headband will behave like a dedicated gaming headset. The listed on-ear speaker placement also matters if you are specifically seeking earbuds or a fully separate open-ear design.
Frenou’s strap length and pockets help explain how it may work as a carry item, but they do not confirm whether a particular gaming device will fit. Check the current product details against the items you plan to carry, especially because the available information does not provide pocket measurements. And although the fabric is described as water resistant, the bag should not be treated as waterproof.
I would choose Perytong if I wanted one of these products for gaming, because it is the only one that actually provides Bluetooth audio and a built-in microphone. Its rechargeable headband design also suits relaxed listening beyond gaming. For a gaming trip where carrying essentials is the real need, I would choose Frenou instead—but I would bring separate headphones. My gaming recommendation is Perytong, with the important caveat that its listed features do not establish dedicated gaming-headset performance.
Perytong is the relevant choice for audio: it has Bluetooth speakers and a built-in microphone. Frenou is a storage bag with a headphone hole, so it can carry essentials while a separate audio device is used.
It can connect to Bluetooth devices and includes a microphone, so it may work for casual gaming where those features are enough. The provided specifications do not state gaming-specific latency or other dedicated headset capabilities.
No headphones are listed. The bag has a headphone hole for routing a cable, plus a key hook and zippered pockets for belongings.
The fabric headband is washable, but the speaker units must be removed first.
