If you want a soft, side-sleeping audio headband for music production, choose Perytong Sleep Headphones; if you need translation features for multilingual conversations, choose BESNOOW AI Language Translation. These are built for very different jobs, so the right pick comes down to whether comfort during rest or language tools matter more.
• Perytong’s biggest strength: an on-ear Bluetooth headband with ultra-thin speakers, a detachable washable design, and up to 12 hours of battery life. Trade-off: it has passive noise control and is designed around a headband rather than a conventional earbud fit.
• BESNOOW’s biggest strength: earbuds that combine translation features, calls, music, and support for 164 languages. Trade-off: its translation features rely on the Ear Dance app, and its stated battery life is 8 hours per charge, with extended playtime using the case.
• Choose Perytong for sleep playlists, meditation, or listening while lying on your side.
• Choose BESNOOW for multilingual conversations, translated calls, or travel where language support is useful.
• Neither is a dedicated music-production monitor; each is better suited to the specific everyday use its design supports.
Perytong is a Bluetooth headband with ultra-thin on-ear speakers and a control panel positioned at the forehead. That layout is the key distinction from earbuds: the listening components sit within a fabric band rather than being inserted into the ear. For someone who listens while lying down, the low-profile speaker design is intended to avoid the hard, protruding feel that can become uncomfortable against a pillow. The band is made from spandex, and the control module can be removed so the headband can be washed.
Its stated battery life is 12 hours, with a two-hour charging time and a USB-C charging port. That combination suits an overnight playlist, an audiobook, or several listening sessions between charges. Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity, while touch controls are integrated into the headband. The product lists passive noise cancellation, so it should not be treated as an active-noise-cancelling headset: its design is about listening through a soft headband, not electronically cancelling outside sound.
For music production, this is not the tool I would choose for detailed mixing decisions. The information provided identifies it as an on-ear sleep headband and does not specify studio-monitor features. It may suit someone who wants casual playback or a listening companion while resting, but not a buyer seeking dedicated production headphones. That distinction matters if you are searching for memory foam ear cushions over ear headphones for music production: Perytong is a fabric headband with on-ear speakers, not an over-ear memory-foam design.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.

Who should skip it: Skip Perytong if you need in-ear translation, active noise cancellation, or headphones specifically described for studio production.
BESNOOW is an in-ear Bluetooth earbud set built around translation and communication. It supports 164 languages and combines translation functions with music and calls. Its listed modes cover several situations: free talk for hands-free conversation, a headset-and-phone approach for two-way exchanges, a translator-device mode that plays translated speech through the phone, and camera translation for text. The product information also describes voice translation for audio and video calls, giving it a broader communication role than ordinary earbuds.
The earbuds connect using Bluetooth 5.3 and work with the Ear Dance app, which is downloaded by scanning the manual’s QR code. That app connection is important to consider: translation is not simply a hardware-only feature, and buyers should be comfortable using a companion app. The earbuds also include an AI conversation mode, though the provided details say its responses do not include real-time information such as weather or dates. For travel or conversations where language support is the priority, those functions are the central reason to consider this product.
BESNOOW uses an in-ear fit with three pairs of soft ear pads and a 45-degree design. Its stated battery life is eight hours per charge, with up to 48 hours of playtime when the charging case is included; the case has an LED display, and a full charge is listed as taking 1.5 hours over USB-C. It has a 13 mm composite driver and an ENC microphone intended to help with ambient noise during voice communication. The product also lists active noise cancellation, but that does not make it the obvious choice for studio listening. Someone looking for the best active noise cancelling headset for music production should not assume that a translation-focused earbud set is a substitute for dedicated production headphones.
Who should skip it: Skip BESNOOW if your priority is a washable sleep headband or a low-profile listening design for lying on your side.
• For listening while lying on your side → Perytong Sleep Headphones. Its ultra-thin speakers sit in a fabric headband, rather than in-ear earbuds.
• For translation across many languages → BESNOOW AI Language Translation. It lists support for 164 languages and multiple translation modes.
• For a removable, washable fabric design → Perytong. The control module can be detached before washing the headband.
• For translated calls and video chats → BESNOOW. Its features include voice translation during audio and video calls.
• For longer stated playtime from a single charge → Perytong. It lists 12 hours, compared with BESNOOW’s eight hours per charge.
• For extended listening with a charging case → BESNOOW. The listed total is up to 48 hours with the case, though that is not the same as 48 hours from one charge.
• For a microphone feature aimed at clearer translated speech → BESNOOW. It lists an ENC microphone for voice communication.
• For a child’s headset question → neither is described as a kids’ product. Both product sheets specify an adult age range, so I would not label either the best kids headset for music production.
• For music production → neither is presented as dedicated studio gear. Pick Perytong only if the goal is casual, comfortable listening; pick BESNOOW if language tools are more important than production-focused listening.
In my opinion, I would buy Perytong if I wanted a comfortable audio option for winding down, especially because its headband design is intended for side sleeping and its stated battery life is 12 hours. For music production, though, I would not mistake either product for dedicated studio headphones. I would choose BESNOOW only when translation, calls, and multilingual communication are the actual priority.
Before choosing, decide whether you need audio playback or language assistance. Perytong’s features center on the fabric headband, wireless listening, and a washable design. BESNOOW’s value is in translation modes, app-supported functions, and call features. Their shared Bluetooth connectivity does not make them interchangeable.
Fit is another practical difference. Perytong wraps around the head and places its control panel at the forehead; BESNOOW uses in-ear earbuds with three pairs of ear pads. If you know you dislike in-ear listening, the BESNOOW fit may be a drawback. If you want a conventional earbud shape, the headband format may not suit your routine.
Consider how you will use noise control. Perytong lists passive noise cancellation, while BESNOOW lists active noise cancellation and an ENC microphone. The ENC feature is described in relation to voice translation, so it is especially relevant to conversations. Neither description establishes that either product is a dedicated solution for isolating studio audio.
Battery figures also need context. Perytong lists 12 hours of average battery life and a two-hour charge time. BESNOOW lists eight hours per charge and up to 48 hours with its case, plus a 1.5-hour full charge. If you expect to listen for long stretches without returning to a case, compare the per-charge figures rather than relying only on the combined case figure.
Perytong is the clearer fit for sleep listening because it uses a headband with ultra-thin on-ear speakers and is designed for side sleeping. BESNOOW is an in-ear translation earbud set with a different primary purpose.
The product describes several modes, including free talk and a headset-and-phone mode, and it uses the Ear Dance app. Since the listed features involve the app and, in some modes, the phone, check the mode requirements before relying on it for a particular conversation.
Perytong lists 12 hours of average battery life. BESNOOW lists eight hours per charge and up to 48 hours with its charging case, so the figures describe different usage setups.
Neither product is described as dedicated studio headphones. Perytong is a sleep headband for casual listening, while BESNOOW is an in-ear set focused on translation, calls, and music playback. For production work, look for headphones whose specifications explicitly address studio monitoring.
