Hi, I'm Perry Spector. My research focuses on past changes of the Antarctic Ice Sheet using measurements of rare cosmic-ray produced isotopes.

I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at U.C. Berkeley and the Berkeley Geochronology Center, where I'm working on a project to evaluate Antarctic ice-sheet models using a continent-wide database of cosmogenic-nuclide measurements.

I did my Ph.D work at the University of Washington through a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship working with John Stone. My Ph.D projects were (i) the deglacial history of the Ross Sea, (ii) long-term ice thickness changes in West Antarctica, and (iii) subglacial drilling to test for past collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet.
