- **Reference Images (Optional):** If you choose to upload an image from your device as a reference for the AI to base its design on.
- **Usage Data (Analytics):** Basic, non-identifying telemetry data (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) collected automatically to help us improve app stability.
We **do not** collect your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or any persistent device identifiers (like IDFA) for tracking purposes.
## 2. Who We Share Your Data With (Third-Party AI Services)
Because the App relies on advanced artificial intelligence to generate designs, we must transmit the text prompts and reference images you provide to third-party cloud AI services.
**Your data is sent exclusively to the following third parties:**
1. **OpenAI, L.L.C.:** We send your text prompts to OpenAI's API to enhance, structure, and optimize the prompt for better design generation.
2. **Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs:** We send the optimized text prompt (and your reference image, if provided) to Replicate's API to render and generate the final visual artwork.
## 3. Obtaining Your Permission Before Sending Data
We will never transmit your text prompts or images to OpenAI or Replicate without your explicit permission.
**How we obtain your consent:**
When you first launch the App, or before you make your first design generation request, you are presented with a clear, in-app "Data Privacy Consent" screen. This screen explicitly discloses what data (text/images) will be sent and to whom (OpenAI and Replicate). The App will only transmit your data if you actively click the **"I Agree"** or **"Continue"** button on that consent screen.
## 4. All Uses of Your Data
The data we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:
- **Service Provision:** To process your text prompts and reference images through our third-party AI partners to generate and return the final perfume label design to your device.
- **App Improvement:** To analyze crash reports and basic usage metrics to improve the App's performance.
**We do not** use your text prompts or generated images for advertising, we do not sell your data to data brokers, and we do not use your personal data to train our own AI models.
## 5. Third-Party Data Protection Standards
We confirm that any third party the App shares data with provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable laws (such as GDPR and CCPA).
- **OpenAI:** Data submitted via OpenAI's API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default. They retain API data for a maximum of 30 days solely for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted.
- **Replicate:** Replicate processes the image generation requests securely and temporarily hosts the generated output so the App can download it to your device. They enforce strict security measures and data retention policies that align with industry standards for user privacy.
By consenting to use our App, you acknowledge that these trusted partners will handle your data in accordance with their respective security protocols, which equal the protections we demand.
## 6. Photo Library Access
The App requests "Add Only" (Write-Only) permission to your device's Photo Library.
- **Why we need it:** We use this access **only** when you tap the "Save" button to download an AI-generated perfume label to your camera roll.
- **What we do NOT do:** The App does not have read access. It cannot view, scan, read, upload, or modify any existing photos or videos in your library.
## 7. Data Retention and Deletion
- **Local Storage:** Your generated designs and prompt history are stored locally on your own device. You can delete them at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing your in-app history.
- **Server Storage:** We do not maintain our own servers to permanently store your prompts or generated images. Data sent to our AI partners is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the generation request and for their strict, short-term abuse monitoring (maximum 30 days).
## 8. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
