This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Borewell Camera - USB Camera (the “App”) accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use its USB camera, recording, photo, depth-meter, microphone, and Bluetooth features.
The App may access the following information only when required to provide a feature you choose to use:
Camera and USB video data: live video frames from a compatible USB/UVC camera or capture device for preview, recording, and photo capture.
Microphone audio: audio from the mobile device microphone when audio recording is enabled.
Bluetooth device information and serial data: paired-device details, connection status, and supported commands received from devices such as an HC-05 module or compatible Bluetooth controls.
Photos and videos: inspection photos and recordings created by the user and saved to storage selected or controlled by the user.
App settings: calibration values, depth unit, custom step, audio preference, watermark preference, and other operational settings stored locally on the device.
The information above is used only to provide the App’s core functions, including live camera preview, photo capture, video and optional microphone-audio recording, depth calculation and overlay, Bluetooth depth control, calibration, and saving user-created media.
The App does not require account registration and does not sell personal data. The App does not upload camera video, microphone audio, Bluetooth data, photos, recordings, or calibration settings to the developer’s servers. The App does not share this data with advertisers or data brokers.
Media remains on the user’s device unless the user independently copies, shares, backs up, or transfers it using Android or another app. Android system backup or device-cloud features may process eligible app settings according to the user’s device and Google account settings.
Camera: used for compatible camera access and preview functionality.
Microphone: used only when recording audio with video.
Bluetooth Connect and Scan: used to discover/connect compatible devices and receive supported depth-control data. Bluetooth scanning is not used to derive physical location.
USB host access: used to detect and communicate with compatible USB cameras and capture devices.
Users can deny or revoke Android permissions from device Settings. Features that depend on a denied permission may not function.
Photos and recordings remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them. App preferences remain locally until they are cleared or the App is uninstalled. Users can delete media through the App’s selected storage location, Android file/gallery tools, or device Settings. The developer does not retain server copies of this information.
The App uses Android permission controls and device storage mechanisms to limit access. Users are responsible for securing their device and any media they export or share. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The App is a professional inspection utility and is not directed to children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The App uses Android platform components and camera/media libraries to provide local device functionality. If a user shares or backs up a file using a third-party service, that service’s privacy policy applies to the user’s action.
This policy may be updated when App features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at the privacy-policy URL shown on the Google Play listing, with an updated effective date.
