The sword is a weapon used in the TV series "Game of Thrones" by Jon Snow. Longclaw is a Valyrian metallic bastard sword that changed into the ancestral weapon of House Mormont for 5 centuries. When Lord Jeor Mormont retired from his lordship to take the black and command the Night's Watch, he passed it to his son and heir, Ser Jorah Mormont. When Jorah went into exile after seeking to sell a few poachers into slavery, he left the sword and Jeor's sister Maege again to him on the Wall.
