Pep ("the app") is a motivational pep-talk app. By downloading, installing, or using the Pep app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
## 1. The Service
Pep is a mobile application that provides audio pep talks and motivational content, including:
- **Daily pep talks** – short, personalized audio content
- **Custom pep talks** – user-created goals and outcomes turned into audio
- **Pro and Flow subscriptions** – additional features, including more daily peps, longer duration, voice selection, and saved content
The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

## 2. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction to consent to these Terms) to use Pep. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these Terms with you.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for all activity that occurs through the app on your device.

## 3. Subscriptions and Payments
- **Free tier:** Some features are available without payment.
- **Pro and Flow:** Paid subscriptions unlock additional features. Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (“Store”).
- **Billing:** Charges are applied to your Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the chosen interval (e.g., monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
- **Cancellation:** You may cancel a subscription in your device’s Store account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- **Refunds:** Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not control Store refund decisions.
- **Price changes:** We may change subscription prices with advance notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

## 4. Content and Use of the App
- **Our content:** Audio, text, and other content we provide are for motivation and general interest only. They are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- **User content:** You may enter goals, outcomes, or other text to generate pep talks. You grant us a limited license to use that content only to provide and improve the service (e.g., generating and delivering your pep talk).
- **AI-generated content:** Some content is generated by automated systems. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose. Use your own judgment.
You may not use the app to:
- Violate any law or encourage illegal activity
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our permission
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons.

## 5. Intellectual Property
Pep’s name, logo, design, and the app’s code and content (other than user-provided input) are owned by us or our licensors. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the app. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content or branding without written permission.

- **“As is.”** The app and content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- **No professional advice.** Content is for motivation and entertainment only. It is not therapy, coaching, medical, legal, or financial advice. If you need such advice, please consult a qualified professional.
- **No guarantee of results.** We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the app.
