Morgan Deepsong

Morgan was the first side character I made for CRWD_CTRL. She guides the player along when Cameron isn't available. Her design is based on the goetic demon Vassago. Vassago is a kind demon, known for sharing knowledge, which is why I found it fitting to function as a guide to introduce the player to the world.

Vassago is mentioned to be similar to another demon, Agares, who is described to be riding a crocodile, which is why I decided on basing Morgan's design on crocs and alligator.
I wanted her to be a strong character who can carry herself through anything, basing her design loosely on female wrestlers.
Her jacket has changed the most during her design process. Starting out as a bomber jacket, then turning into a hoodie and now going back to being a mix of the two. In the 3D model, I chose to depict her with a cropped version of the hoodie, while using the design of the hood and sleeves from the original concept painting.
