We have migrated to a new website as of May 2025.
After this contest is over, we will be migrating to a new website linked here! It is still a work in progress, but we are excited about it.Â
The deadline for registration has been extended to March 29!
Registration for the PMC IV is now open! Please go to the PMC page to register.
The Philly Math Contest (PMC) at Penn is a completely student-run competition that aims to get high schoolers engaged in math and create an inclusive community full of fun and challenging experiences! Our team is made up of students at the University of Pennsylvania who want to spread a love of math both throughout the local Philadelphia community and to high schoolers all over the world.
The 2024 Penn Girls Math Contest was on November 23, 2024, and the 2025 Penn Math Contest (PMC IV) is on April 19, 2025! Both contests are available in-person on the University of Pennsylvania campus or online over Zoom. There will be prizes available for the winners of the in-person contest, and certificates available for the winners of the online contest. For PGMC, there is one test with questions of varying difficulty, and for PMC IV, there are three levels of contest (Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced). Everyone from people with no experience to people who are math contest veterans are encouraged to participate! Additionally, we have both an individual and a team portion for PMC IV, so get your friends to sign up as a team, or meet new people by joining a random team. The registration forms for PGMC and PMC IV can be found on their respective pages.
Check out our FAQ for more information! Also, feel free to reach out to us with any questions. We are thankful towards our sponsors SIG (Susquehanna International Group) and Jane Street for their support, and these contests would not be possible without them.
