I am a theoretical physicist working on nonequilibrium quantum dynamics and quantum foundations.
My current research focuses on stochastic quantum dynamics and its applications to quantum foundations, with particular interest in relativistic spontaneous collapse models. I have developed stochastic quantum-field-theoretic formulations with statistical Lorentz symmetry, and more recently a random non-Hermitian action approach in which colored noise induces wave-function localization. A central question of my current work is whether such stochastic localization mechanisms can provide a consistent relativistic collapse model while reproducing the Born rule.
I also have a broad research program on nonequilibrium quantum many-body systems. My previous work has addressed real-time dynamics and dynamical quantum phase transitions, localization and delocalization, quenched topological systems, Floquet topological systems, spacetime crystals with Lorentz symmetry, dissipative many-body dynamics, and nonequilibrium steady states. Across these problems, I am particularly interested in universal and nonanalytic phenomena emerging far from equilibrium.
