Welcome to my website! Here you'll find information about my research projects, my academic career, publications and some personal details, such as my Lego photos and favorite YouTube Channels. If you're an undergrad student, I have prepared a page on recommendations to your undergraduation in Physics (only in Portuguese).
I currently work in Supernova Neutrino Detection. In my Masters I investigated if we can use neutrinos from a Core Collapse Supernova as a way of measuring the distance or the explosion energy. I worked with numerical simulations of neutrino detection writting a code in Python that I want to make available to the whole astroparticle physics community as a Python library.
Master's in Science in Physics by the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil.
Bachelor of Science in Physics by the University of Brasilia, Brazil (UnB)

Some academic projects I took part at university and that contributed to my development, and some others that I'm still part of doing research or just having fun in learning something new :)
(2018 - 2019)
Techniques of UV/VIS spectroscopy to characterize microalgae species.
(2019 - 2020)
Work at the Universitary Hospital of Brasilia (HuB) with focus on radiotherapy.
(2019 - 2020)
Search for evidences on categorical classification on the brain as an explanation of the uncanny valley.
(2020 - 2022)
Use of several epidemiological models and the Santos Dumont Supercomputer for forecasting of the COVID-19 pandemic.
(2019 - 2020)
Theorical review on the development of quantum field theory and electroweak interactions. Application of this theory to describe production on neutrinos in supernovas and development of numerical simulations for supernova neutrino detection at DUNE.
(2021 - Today)
Can we use neutrinos as a probe for finding the location of a Supernova in the sky, that is, its distance and direction? Answering this question is the main objective of my Master. (As soon as I defend, I'll upload my dissertation here)
(2021 - Today)
This project started as a Hackathon challenge in the McGill Physics Hachathon in 2021. Today, me and some friends (Check them out :D João Augusto Sobral, João Pedro Valeriano, Felipe Fontinele Nunes) try to improve our simulations and investigate the stability of some orbits in three-body systems under the effects of general relativity.
(2023 - Today)
We investigate in which kind of scenarios is chemotatic behavior good or bad for bacteria that are being exposed to a toxic substance.
Here I place my personal class notes on some topics. For now, all of them are written in Portuguese only and not all of them are complete (actually most are still incomplete).
