Program Description
The Pediatric Pain Clinic offers specialized outpatient evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain in children and adolescents. Under the leadership of a pediatric pain physician, we provide diagnostic assessment, medical consultation, and interventional therapies as indicated.
The clinic operates on a multidisciplinary model, collaborating with pediatric psychologists, physiotherapists, and complementary‐medicine practitioners (e.g. acupuncture, mind-body techniques). This enables delivering integrated biopsychosocial care, with individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
We function as a central outpatient resource within a larger network of hospital and community services. Our team helps families access local follow-up and allied therapies close to home, ensuring continuity across settings. Our goals are to reduce pain-related disability, restore function, support reintegration into daily and school life, and improve quality of life.
