Pearls Are for Ladies

Hi! My name is Lilly Davidson. I'm a recent graduate of Quinnipiac University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, & Media Arts and Media Studies, and my Master's in Cinematic Production Management. Yes, that's a mouthful. And yes, when someone asks what I studied I usually just say film. But if you're here, then that means you're interested in the work I put in to achieve these degrees. So let me tell you about my CPM thesis. Over the course of my summer semester, I wrote the pilot for my show Pearls Are for Ladies and curated pre-production deliverables such as a schedule, budget, pitch deck, and rip reel. Lucky for you, all of these are available right on this site!

I really hope you get some enjoyment out of these materials because doing all this work for a project I am passionate about was a really amazing experience. Storytelling is just about the greatest thing ever and I think this project shows my love for it. Impacting another person in any way is really exciting, so I would love it if you took something away from my work. Whatever you want, I'm not picky. But I do hope you enjoy!
