Arc 3: Chapter 28

Lin Yuan obediently nestled himself into Jiang Qian’s arms. His eyes were full of dependence and approval, and he said softly: “Of course. I’m okay with everything, you will always be the best…”

Lin Yuan stared at Jiang Qian’s rolling Adam’s apple and inexplicably wanted to take a bite.

He acted on his desires and moved closer and bit down. He even grinded gently with his teeth.

When Lin Yuan loosened his jaw, he subconsciously licked Jiang Qian’s throat again. He then remembered to continue speaking: “I wasn’t going to go anywhere in the first place.”

Jiang Qian’s eyes shook slightly and his lips moved silently, but in the end, he couldn’t say anything.

The servants from Prince Chu’s mansion stepped into the Admiral’s mansion and felt a little uncomfortable coming to a foreign place, but when they entered the inner garden and saw the familiar courtyard, all of the sudden everyone calmed down and started busying around.

Lin Yuan was also a little surprised to see that Jiang Qian had built the exact same courtyard. He wandered around the garden with interest, trying to find something that was different to point out to Jiang Qian.

When Lin Yuan finally entered the study, Jiang Qian locked the door behind them and lifted Lin Yuan onto the desk.

Lin Yuan put his hands on Jiang Qian’s shoulders and his round apricot eyes shone like a child who received a gift. He was so excited that he wanted to jump around.

All of this time, Jiang Qian was worried that Lin Yuan would feel that he overstepped by building a replica of Lin courtyard, but seeing the other smile brightly, he finally felt relieved and gently pinched Lin Yuan’s cheek.

Lin Yuan made a little hum of dissatisfaction at being pinched, but he didn’t dodge away.

Jiang Qian watched Lin Yuan’s movements and his amber eyes held an impenetrable web of possessiveness.

He bent down until his thin lips brushed against Lin Yuan’s ear and said hoarsely: “Prince, do you like it here?”

Of course Lin Yuan liked it. He liked it a lot. His husband was indeed very attentive and even built a replica of Lin courtyard because he was afraid that he wouldn’t get used to being in a new environment.

Hehe, his husband likes him so much.

Lin Yuan nodded vigorously and rubbed against Jiang Qian intimately: “I like it! I really like it!”

Jiang Qian didn’t know where Lin Yuan formed his habit of rubbing against people. He softened and said a little happily: “It’s good that Sui Sui likes it.”

He let Lin Yuan rub for a bit and then slowly lifted Lin Yuan’s chin and made the other look up.

Lin Yuan made eye contact with Jiang Qian and smiled sweetly. Just as he was about to say something, there was a soft touch on his lips.

When Jiang Qian kissed, he was as assertive as ever, and even a little forceful. Lin Yuan weakly bore everything and allowed Jiang Qian to plunder and invade.

The Admiral’s mansion was already taking on the past role of Prince Chu’s mansion, being the victim of their many intimate traces.

Two hours later, Jiang Qian opened the door to the study and ordered servants to prepare the bath.

In the bath, Lin Yuan sat in Jiang Qian’s arms, tired but still a little excited. He looked left and right and grinned: “Here is also the same.”

Jiang Qian 'en'-ed and lowered his head and kissed Lin Yuan’s shoulder. He said softly: “It’s good that the prince doesn’t dislike it.”

Lin Yuan only felt that he had received a gift that had been carefully prepared for a long time, a gift that was full of Jiang Qian’s love.

He raised his head and kissed Jiang Qian wetly: “Jiang Qian, I’ll be by your side. Don’t be afraid…”

Jiang Qian held Lin Yuan tightly and his inky hair drifted on the water. His slender fingers brushed Lin Yuan’s cheeks.

“Sui Sui…”

At this moment, he didn’t know what else to say, and could only repeat himself over and over again.

“Sui Sui…”

After bathing, Lin Yuan drank a bowl of porridge and then went to bed. Jiang Qian lay next to him.

Their surroundings seemed to have never changed, but Jiang Qian knew that he had finally locked his little prince in his house. His little prince could no longer leave him.

Such a fact made Jiang Qian feel a few more points of satisfaction that slightly filled the emptiness in his heart.

Jiang Qian moved quietly and pulled Lin Yuan into his arms. Inadvertently lowering his eyes, he watched Lin Yuan sleep soundly, his warm and harmless appearance made Jiang Qian a little bit guilty.

He knew Lin Yuan treated him sincerely. But for him, he continued to pretend to be a noble gentleman in front of Lin Yuan. He hugged Lin Yuan with a pair of hands that killed countless people. t/n LY already knows everything about you bro

Jiang Qian stared at Lin Yuan for a long time. Then he softly kissed the young man’s forehead and whispered: “Wait for me, Sui Sui. I will return to you a clean and pure Jiang Qian…”

Jiang Qian stopped his horse at the gate of the imperial prison. In the depths of this hell on earth, the son of Prince Yanping had already been imprisoned for over half a year.

Jiang Qian walked down the hallways and stairs of the imperial prison and looked at the son of Prince Yanping, who practically didn’t even look human anymore. He found that there was not much remaining resentment in his heart, as everything that he had suffered through before had been returned.

In the dim lighting of the cell, Jiang Qian’s beautiful and pale face looked like a ghost in the shadows. He waved his hand and ordered calmly: “Get a doctor. But no need to treat him well, just don’t let him die. Then throw him to where he should’ve gone.” t/n exile

This was the best punishment for the son of Prince Yanping. He used to be the spoiled son of a high-ranked family, but now he had to struggle to breathe for the next half of his life.

For people like him, death was relief and living was suffering.

Lin Yuan didn’t wake up until the evening. He opened his eyes groggily and saw Jiang Qian sitting next to him reading official documents.

He whispered ‘husband’ and Jiang Qian immediately put down the documents in his hand and held him in his arms.

“Slept enough? Are you hungry? I’ll have the kitchen make the dishes you like.”

His voice was gentle like a warm gust wrapping around Lin Yuan.

Lin Yuan noticed the difference and observed that Jiang Qian’s whole person seemed a little brighter and the gloom in his eyes had also faded a little. He blinked and glanced over to find with surprise that the blackening value had suddenly dropped by 5%.

He was puzzled but he didn’t ask. Regardless of the reason, as long as Jiang Qian was happier, everything was good.

After arriving at the Admiral’s mansion, Lin Yuan’s life was pretty much unchanged from before.

How it was like in Prince Chu’s mansion was how it was in the Admiral’s mansion.

Jiang Qian was as busy as usual. He left early and came back late. Although Lin Yuan didn’t know exactly what he was doing, he knew Jiang Qian was doing something that he liked instead of being forced to kill. He knew because when Jiang Qian came back, he was always spirited. Before, he used to bury his head in work after coming home, but now he liked to play some strange tricks.

Tricks were okay, what Lin Yuan couldn’t stand the most was when Jiang Qian deliberately teased: “Does the little prince want to go out? If so, then you have to work hard. When the little prince gives birth to my child, I’ll let you go out…”

When Lin Yuan heard such words the first time, his face blushed so hard it was about to bleed. He scolded Jiang Qian over and over again, but Jiang Qian never listened.

Time passed by and two years later, Jiang Qian’s blackening value dropped slowly to 35%.

On the second day of the second month, the sky was clear and the wind was warm. Jiang Qian had promised to take Lin Yuan outside of the capital for an outing, so Lin Yuan woke up from excitement early in the morning.

Many people from the capital also took advantage of the good weather to go out of the city to have fun.

In the carriage, Lin Yuan snuggled in Jiang Qian’s arms and the two chatted intimately. After an unknown amount of time, the carriage stopped and Lin Yuan thought they had arrived. Just as he was about to get off the carriage, Jiang Qian suddenly covered his eyes and whispered: “Sui Sui, I want to show you something. Can you close your eyes first?”

Lin Yuan nodded curiously.

Jiang Qian took out the ribbon he prepared and tied it over Lin Yuan’s eyes. He carefully helped him out of the carriage and led him forward.

After walking for a few minutes, Jiang Qian said quietly: “Lin Yuan, this is something I built for you.”

Jiang Qian untied the ribbon so that Lin Yuan could see what was in front of them.

There was a huge stone archway that was carved with cranes, pines, and bamboo, with cornices and wings leading to three doors and four pillars. Four large characters were carved in the middle and furnished with gold paint.

Qingyuan Academy.

Lin Yuan was confused: “...For me?”

A school?
