Arc 9: Chapter 7
Lin Yuan took two steps to follow Xie Daolan out of the room, when Xiao Ying suddenly hugged him from behind.
Lin Yuan turned around and looked puzzledly at Xiao Ying: “What’s wrong? Didn’t we just agree?”
Xiao Ying buried his head into Lin Yuan’s neck. From where Lin Yuan couldn’t see, Xiao Ying’s scarlet eyes seemed to want to burn Xie Daolan. He took off the string of Buddha beads from his wrist and wrapped them around Lin Yuan’s right wrist.
One hundred and eight mala beads made from dark red agate encircled Lin Yuan’s pale skin. Xiao Ying stroked his handiwork with satisfaction. But when he saw the Yuqing sword in Lin Yuan’s left hand, he frowned, grabbed the hilt, and threw it on the ground.
Xie Daolan’s aura hardened in an instant, his eyes turning cold and as dark as ink.
Lin Yuan gasped and apologized to Xie Daolan immediately even though it wasn’t his fault: “Sir, I’m sorry.”
Xie Daolan looked at the teenager who seemed like a panicked and sad rabbit, and the iciness in his eyes thawed a little. The man said lightly: “That buddhist mala is good for you and easy to use. It’s unlike the sword, which is a dangerous weapon. If you don’t want it, then you can leave it.”
Lin Yuan shook his head, he definitely still needed the sword! The teenager squirmed and struggled to get out Xiao Ying’s arms, but the other was like a thick viper. The more Lin Yuan struggled, the tighter his hold was.
Lin Yuan’s brain turned and he decisively bit his finger, breaking the skin. He brought his bleeding finger to Xiao YIng’s lips.
A rich and sweet fragrance suddenly enticed all of Xiao Ying’s attention. Xiao Ying’s pupils dilated and he let go of Lin Yuan to grab the teenager’s bleeding finger, sending it to his mouth.
Xiao Ying licked and sucked the thick liquid, which was warm and as sweet as cream to him.
Finally free, Lin Yuan quickly bent down and picked up the Yuqing sword.
To Xie Daolan, the wet sounds coming from Lin Yuan’s fingers seemed to echo loudly. Unseen by the other two people, his Adam’s apple moved slightly up and down and his eyes deepened, like a splash of color in the empty night sky.
Very quickly, the small wound healed by itself and there was no more blood. Lin Yuan looked helplessly at his gluttonous husband and said sternly: “No more now. Xiao Ying be good, wait for tonight.”
For the first time, Xiao Ying felt his bottomless emptiness had been filled a little. He was in quite a good mood and nodded.
Seeing the annoying sword in Lin Yuan’s hand again, Xiao Ying reached out but Lin Yuan avoided his hand. The teenager didn’t back down from Xiao Ying’s gloomy eyes and said seriously: “This is mine. I need it, understand?”
Xiao Ying didn’t understand, and was instead more irritable when he saw that Lin Yuan cared about the sword.
At this time, Xiao Daolan called out softly, with a trace of greed: “Lin Yuan.”
His voice was like the cold breath of winter that carried a light snowflake.
Lin Yuan didn’t know why, but when he heard his name from Xie Daolan’s mouth, his heart began to beat like crazy and he felt his face flush.
“S- Sir…”
Lin Yuan ran to Xie Daolan’s side with small steps, not forgetting to say goodbye to Xiao Ying. He peeked at Xie Daolan’s face, and said sweetly: “Sir, I won’t lose the sword you gave me!”
Xie Daolan stared at Lin Yuan’s smile, more accurately, he was staring at those soft and swollen lips. But it only took a second.
He turned around and walked away. As they descended the stairs, Xie Daolan reminded the naive teenager with a low voice: “Xiao Ying is half-ghost half-human, and lives in a state between people and evil spirits, so he doesn’t have reason like a normal person. I wasn’t joking before when I said he might eat you tomorrow as food.”
Lin Yuan knew this logic in his heart, but emotionally, he trusted his husband. Just like Xie Daolan, who was like a personified pile of ice and snow, he would try his best to get close to the man and save him.
Lin Yuan grinned at Xie Daolan, and a soft dimple appeared on his cheek: “Sir, you said that whether or not I live past my eighteenth birthday depends on my fate. Maybe Xiao Ying is part of my fate, and he can save me!”
Hearing this, Xie Daolan thought the teenager was even sillier than he imagined. Lin Yuan didn’t understand how tempting his extreme Yin body was to those spirits, like a gourmet buffet that gives you an immense power up.
Lin Yuan also didn’t know that the extreme Yin body was also helpful to cultivators like Xie Daolan. Xie Daolan had a pure Yang body, the exact opposite, and double cultivating with the extreme Yin body would also improve his own cultivation. Moreover, double cultivation wasn’t an evil method that harms the body.
However, such an intimate act was only suitable for couples in Xie Daolan’s opinion. He refused to double cultivate randomly just to increase his own cultivation.
Xie Daolan glanced at the teenager’s round and clear eyes, warm like the sunlight, and he reached his hand out to the teenager: “Give me your hand.”
Lin Yuan didn’t know what Xie Daolan was going to do, but he obediently put his hand in the man’s larger one.
Xie Daolan bit the index finger of his other hand, and carefully drew a complex charm on Lin Yuan’s palm.
After drawing the last stroke, Xie Daolan chanted a few words and then the charm disappeared from sight.
Lin Yuan’s jaw dropped and studied his hand closely: “It’s really gone. Sir, what did you do just now?”
Xie Daolan’s eyes flashed unnaturally but they remained as dark as ever: “It’s a blood spell. If you’re in danger, it can save your life.”
Lin Yuan didn’t know what a blood spell was, but his good impression of Xie Daolan increased. If he could, he would’ve jumped into Xie Daolan’s arms and kissed him.
Lin Yuan’s eyes fell on Xie Daolan’s hand and he leaned down and blew on the skin softly. He looked at Xie Daolan like an anxious kitten: “Sir, thank you, but does it hurt?”
Xie Daolan grabbed Lin Yuan’s bitten finger and threw the question back: “Does this hurt?”
Lin Yuan paused for a second, and then answered obediently: “A little.”
Xie Daolan’s eyes narrowed slightly and his lips hooked upwards: “Same.” He was about to withdraw his hand, when he suddenly stopped as if he remembered something. Instead, his finger touched Lin Yuan’s lips and he ordered lowly: “Lick it clean.”
Lin Yuan blinked but didn’t ask for the reason. He stuck out his wet and soft tongue, licking the fingertips of the other party.
Xie Daolan looked at the teenager’s flushed ears and moist eyes, feeling the sweeping of the other’s tongue and soft lips. His eyes deepened, did Lin Yuan feel this good being licked by Xiao Ying?
When it was over, Xie Daolan pinched the other’s soft tongue one last time, and then said indifferently: “Let’s go. It’s time for you to go back.”
Sitting in the car, Lin Yuan remembered what happened in the stairwell and smooched his palm with the blood spell happily. He lay against the window and watched the passing scenery happily.
The car drove into the city. Lin Yuan was just appreciating the clear and sunny day when he saw a tall man in a black and red dragon robe standing on the side of the road, holding a red umbrella with golden decorations.
Their eyes made eye-contact, and in the next second, the man appeared next to Lin Yuan in the car and pinched Lin Yuan’s chin.
“The extreme Yin body? No wonder you can see me.”
