Arc 7: Chapter 23

Vice Minister Lin’s handsome face was pensive. His eyes stayed on Lin Yuan’s face for a moment, and then moved to Wei Feng.

He chuckled emotionlessly: “So the great Marshal couldn’t resist A’yuan’s approach... then when another Omega approaches you later, what are you going to do? Can’t resist them either?”

Wei Feng lowered his eyes and the emotion in his eyes when he looked at the sleeping youth was even thicker than the starry sky: “There won’t be anyone else, only Lin Yuan.”

Lin Qian couldn’t completely believe him. Bai Cen wasn’t a good person for cheating, but this Imperial Marshal wasn’t much better. If Wei Feng really liked A’yuan, then he should’ve ended his marriage before getting romantically involved with A’yuan. Now the whole world knows about them, and who knows how many people are sneering at A’yuan and the Lin family behind their backs.

Lin Qian wasn’t polite and said: “Marshal, don’t make premature promises. If you change your heart in the future, how shameless you would be.”

Wei Feng didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to bother explaining the depth of his feelings that no one else could understand. Only he knew that his heart had long only been filled by one person, to the point that even his blood and bones desired to embed themselves into Lin Yuan. Just a lifelong mark wasn’t enough, he wanted it such that no one could separate them, even in death.

Wei Feng’s voice was deep and gentle, containing clear tenderness: “No, there won’t be a second Lin Yuan who was willing to gift me a cake and a bouquet of roses when I was the most broken.”

Hearing this, Lin Qian guessed that there was a story between his baby brother and Wei Feng. He asked directly: “So how did you and A’yuan meet? How did it develop into your relationship today?”

Wei Feng narrated his first meeting with Lin Yuan, and then the second.

Their third meeting was at the Kristaux family’s banquet. When everyone was talking and laughing in the hall, inside a dark room, the beautiful youth seduced him. That night, he filled the Omega’s belly, greedily left his pheromones and countless traces.

Of course he couldn’t say this to Lin Qian. The Marshal lied without a beat. Their third meeting turned into a stroll by the riverside, enjoying the night view.

Wei Feng only talked about the moments they had with clothes on.

Lin Qian rubbed his chin and said thoughtfully: “...On the day of A’yuan and Chu Yu’s blind date, A’yuan left for a while, was that related to you?”

Wei Feng remembered the beautiful scene of his Omega pale wrists bound by red silk.

Wei Feng cleared his throat and said: “En, Lin Yuan was calling me and showing me his greenhouse. He said it was his 12 year old birthday present.”

Lin Qian thought to himself that Wei Feng could really pretend and quietly rolled his eyes. As another Alpha, he bet that when the marshal heard Lin Yuan was going on a blind date, he was probably overflowing with jealousy.

After understanding what happened between them, Lin Qian felt that Wei Feng was the tiniest bit more pleasing to the eye.

As long as Lin Yuan liked it, he could accept if Lin Yuan’s Alpha was divorced, or even already had children. Of course, the Alpha would have to treat Lin Yuan like the treasure he was. Although he drew the line at extramarital affairs, Wei Feng’s situation was indeed special.

When Lin Qian calmed down and thought rationally, he remembered how hard the five year war was for the soldiers. As part of the Treasury, the military’s finances he used to be in charge of clearly reflected the struggle. As the commander, Wei Feng’s responsibility and pressure couldn’t be understood by outsiders.

Unexpectedly, their emperor actually had an affair with his wife while he was shedding blood for the empire.

If this happened to Lin Qian, he also wouldn’t be willing to divorce so quickly and let those two cheaters get together easily.

When they arrived at the hospital, Lin Yuan’s condition was still unstable and couldn’t leave Wei Feng’s side. As a result, Lin Qian could only let Wei Feng accompany them all the way.

After all of the examinations, the doctor read the results and said with awe: “Vice Minister Lin, your brother not only awakened as a 3S omega, his physical strength can even be compared to a S-level Alpha. This has never happened in history, it’s incredible. Absolutely incredible.”

Lin Qian made a sound of acknowledgment. When he looked at Lin Yuan, his eyes were appreciative and proud. Now, his treasure was a tyrant rose who could beat up more than 70% of Alpha in the empire.

Wei Feng was silent for a moment and then asked: “Doctor, can you test my pheromone matching with Lin Yuan?”

Lin Qian asked: “Isn’t the match between you two 88%? Why do you want to check it again?”

Wei Feng said with a little uncertainty: “When I gave him a temporary mark today, I felt like it was a little different from before, and it might’ve been the reason for his second awakening.”

The doctor quickly asked a nurse to assist with the blood test. The number on the matching result stunned everyone.

100%.

It was the legendary perfect match.

There had never been a 100% match. The highest pheromone match was 99.53%, and the pair who had this match were envied by others for the rest of history.

Up until now, researchers and experts believed that a 100% pheromone matching didn’t exist. What was the concept of a 100% match? That the sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, and flowers were less loved in comparison, that their souls lived to embrace one another, regardless of time.

Lin Qian never would’ve thought in his wildest dreams that the matching of his rabbit and the dog Alpha would become 100%.

After the doctors and nurses left, Lin Qian looked at the Alpha sitting by the hospital bed with only Lin Yuan’s figure in his eyes and had to admit that this future brother-in-law was more pleasing to the eye. After all, having a brother-in-law that had a 100% match was quite unique.

Lin Yuan was unconscious for a day. When he woke up, his surroundings were blurry and white, and he was blinded by a bright light. Suddenly, a large hand blocked the light and a voice called out low and gently: “Sui Sui…”

Lin Yuan was stunned for a moment before he recognized that it was Wei Feng’s voice. He looked towards the sound, and his sight slowly focused.

The youth saw the man’s hair was messy, and his handsome face was a little haggard. Behind Wei Feng stood several doctors, staring at him with eagerness.

Lin Yuan didn't know what was going on and wanted to ask, but his throat was so dry he couldn’t make a sound at all.

The Alpha noticed he was confused and said with a comforting smile: “Sui Sui, it’s okay, everything’s fine. Your spiritual power awakened for the second time, so your body is adjusting. You’ll recover in a few hours, don’t be afraid.”

Lin Yuan wasn’t afraid at all. As long as he had Wei Feng by his side, he wasn’t afraid of anything.

As more time passed and Lin Yuan felt the strength returning to his limbs, the first thing he did was snuggle into Wei Feng’s arms: “Wei Feng…”

Wei Feng’s strong arms enveloped Lin Yuan tightly: “En, I’m here…”

Lin Qian let out a cough: “A’yuan, did you see me? Your big brother is right here.”

Lin Yuan just wanted to bury himself in Wei Feng’s chest and breathe in his pheromones. Hearing Lin Qian’s words, he looked up reluctantly and grumbled: “Brother, can you go out first? I feel so uncomfortable, I want to be close to Wei Feng.”

How could Lin Qian let such a thing happen under his eyes? He crossed his arms and said coldly: “Young master Lin, I will not be taking a step out of this room.”

Lin Yuan felt that his desire to get close to Wei Feng was tormenting him. Finally, he simply ignored his brother and kissed Wei Feng’s pale and dry lips.

Lin Qian: “!!!”

Scandalous! This sticky rabbit sent itself to the dog’s mouth again!
