Arc 5: Chapter 5

Lin Yuan’s breath was rapid and hot, and a few small sobs escaped from his throat. Lin Yuan couldn't help but think of Yu Sui’an. He thought of the other’s beautiful eyes, slender fingers, and thin lips. He imagined that Yu Sui’an’s hand cupped his face, and his palm was a cool as jade. The slender hand slowly caressed downwards and landed on his neck, tightening and cutting off his airflow. Suddenly the hand loosened, and it finally touched the most critical place.

Like this, Lin Yuan felt a bit better, but it wasn’t enough. He always felt that something was missing.

In his chaotic consciousness, he thought of Yu Sui’an, the person he liked, but… Yu Sui’an was incomplete…

There’s also… Xie Hanzhou…

A pair of indifferent eyes emerged in his mind. Lin Yuan couldn’t imagine a depraved and lustful Xie Hanzhou, instead, he imagined Xie Hanzhou standing in front of him, still expressionless, and his narrow eyes sweeping across his face and body, watching him silently.

Lin Yuan’s movements became more eager and quick, and his eyes were completely misted over. He repeated brokenly: “Brother…”

Thinking of how Yu Sui’an was touching him.

“Master…”

Thinking of how Xie Hanzhou was watching him,

Yu Sui’an listened to the numerous calls for “brother” and “master”, and felt that this little junior’s boldness was not to be underestimated. He actually had the guts to call him and Xie Hanzhou in the same breath.

Yu Sui’an was also angry. This little junior actually called him and Xie Hanzhou in the same breath!

This was provocation!

Yu Sui’an walked over and didn’t care whether Lin Yuan had finished or not. He grabbed the other’s arm and picked up the whole person directly. There was no gentleness in his treatment.

Lin Yuan’s deed was suddenly interrupted, and he exploded and glared fiercely at the bad guy who disturbed him.

“AHH----!!”

He shouted in annoyance and gritted his teeth and said angrily: “What are you doing?”

Yu Sui’an gripped Lin Yuan’s arm with some force. He smiled without smiling: “What do you think I’m doing? Lin. Yuan.”

Lin Yuan felt that this voice was very familiar, and this breath was also very familiar. After a few moments, his eyes suddenly lit up and he pounced on Yu Sui’an like a dog and shouted happily: “Husband~~”

The voice was slurred but still understandable. Yu Sui’an had never heard of this title, and he was a little confused. Was this a local dialect? What did it mean?

He didn't care, regardless, the most urgent matter was the teenager who stuck to his body.

Because of some things that happened when he was young, Yu Sui’an hated it when other people touched him. He hated it to the point of being extremely disgusted. Just as he was about to pull Lin Yuan away, a strange, unexpected hot and soft touch landed on his neck.

His eyelashes trembled imperceptibly, and the perpetual smile on his face receded. His narrow eyes suddenly bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain aloof immortal master, alike in both appearance and soul.

Hot and wet kisses fell on his neck, but to Yu Sui’an, Lin Yuan was no longer a living person, but instead a venomous snake, encircling his throat and slowly suffocating him.

On the top of Ancient Grove Peak, Xie Hanzhou was in the middle of meditating, when he suddenly felt a phantom touch on his neck.

Xie Hanzhou frowned and opened his eyes. Even his usual indifference showed faint puzzlement.

His residence, Clear Night’s Dream, was fortified with a grand barrier array that without his personal jade token, even the late Demon Lord couldn’t breach. It was inconceivable for anyone to get close to him without his knowledge.

But the phantom touch persisted, and meandered along his neck, creeping up to the base of his ear.

Xie Hanzhou vaguely understood that this was someone’s lips and tongue. All of a sudden, his earlobe was gently sucked.

Xie Hanzhou got up with an expressionless face and walked out. His white Taoist robe rippled behind him like a wave.

He closely observed the barrier array and was sure that everything was unmoved. After staring for a bit, he remembered something. When Yu Sui’an’s mind was disturbed, his sense of touch would become connected to him and shared. But how was this possible? This phenomenon had only occurred once before, a very long time ago.

Xie Hanzhou lifted his gaze to the unchanging moon that hung in the same place for countless centuries, and a faint trace of somberness flickered through his pitch black eyes.

He descended from the peak and swiftly moved through the darkness until he arrived at Yu Sui’an's residence. The scene he stumbled upon was completely unexpected.

Yu Sui’an stood stiffly by the wall with an ugly expression, and his eyes were clearly bloodshot, like a beast trapped in a cage.

A slender and young man cuddled in his arms, wearing the same Taoist robe, but they were messy and loosely worn, revealing his thin, snow-white shoulders.

Although it was not unheard of for cultivators to engage in dual cultivation, Xie Hanzhou never imagined to witness such a thing.

His expression hardened and his voice contained no warmth. He slowly spit out three words: “Yu. Sui. An…”

In his mindless and chaotic state, Yu Sui'an felt as though he were sinking into a dark abyss, an endless nightmare as cold and consuming as the void itself. Yet, a familiar voice, sharp and piercing like frost, reached into the depths of the abyss and yanked him back to the surface. His eyes were already scarlet, and the shadows on his body seemed to squirm were like ghosts from hell.

“Xie…Hanzhou…”

For some, the person they loved the most was themself. But for some, the one they detested the most was themself.

Yu Sui’an was one of the latter. He didn’t think this was unusual. As a being born from malice and darkness, despising and loathing himself was natural.

“Oh Honored Sect Master, on such a fine night, why aren’t you perched up above in your Clear Night’s Dream? You actually have the time and leisure to descend upon the lowly mortal realm? Could it be that some great calamity plagues the world, and we are in desperate need of your brilliance?”

Xie Hanzhou ignored Yu Sui’an sarcasm. He looked at the teenager in Yu Sui’an’s arms and said coldly: “Yu Sui’an, I have told you before: within Pure Jade Palace, you must abide by its rules, do not lay a hand on its people. Are you violating that agreement?”

Yu Sui’an glanced down at the teenager. Affected by the drugs, Lin Yuan continued to hum and rub against himself.

Remembering a certain person’s name that Lin Yuan was calling, he heartlessly tossed the person over.

Thanks to his high cultivation level, Xie Hanzhou could see Lin Yuan’s face clearly in the dark, and instantly remembered who his disciple was. His eyebrows scrunched up slightly and he whipped out a fluffy robe and wrapped Lin Yuan up like a dumpling, and carried him by the back collar.

Lin Yuan suddenly lost contact with his husband and he became even more restless.

Xie Hanzhou quickly noticed Lin Yuan’s abnormality. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Yu Sui’an: “What did you feed him?”

Yu Sui’an was wiping his neck with a handkerchief, and sneered: “It was one of your disciples who attempted to make me eat something, and this little disciple mistakenly ate it instead. Sect Master, you should spare some time to discipline your pupils. And don’t worry, as long as I’m in Pure Jade Palace, I won’t kill anyone,” The man’s voice lowered: “But once I step outside, it’s hard to say...”

“Outside of your Pure Jade Palace, I am just an evil demon that you immortals chase to kill. Righteousness and evil are irreconcilable. As the Demon Lord, I must live up to that title.”

Xie Hanzhou wasn’t sure if Yu Sui’an’s words were truth or falsehood. Anyways, he picked up Lin Yuan and carried him to a room in the back of Ancient Grove Hall, and then dropped Lin Yuan onto the bed.

Lin Yuan was wrapped so tightly he couldn’t move at all, and he hummed aggrievedly. He sometimes called for his senior brother, and other times called for his master. His voice was so soft and sweet it could melt people’s hearts.

Xie Hanzhou merely thought that his little disciple was just asking him for help, so he took out a Clear Headed Elixir and fed it to Lin Yuan.

As its name suggested, the Clear Headed Elixir could clear people of their desires. Lin Yuan’s burning body gradually calmed down.

After struggling for so long, Lin Yuan was out of energy and he fell asleep quickly. His sleeping face was obedient and quiet, his cheeks puffed out cutely as he breathed.

Xie Hanzhou made sure that his little disciple was okay, and then left the room. Before closing the door, his eyes inadvertently swept over his little disciple’s ruddy and moist lips. This incident just now made his brows twitch slightly.

But in his view, the feelings and touches that he felt were only because he shared his senses with Yu Sui’an.

All of it had nothing to do with him.
