Keeping the peace comes at a cost
The Peacemaker’s Toll is a 2D top-down pixel art narrative game that explores the experience of being a child of divorce and the emotional pressure of becoming caught in the middle of parental conflict. Players take on the role of a daughter who becomes the “peacemaker,” navigating conversations and making dialogue choices that influence the relationship with each parent. The game explores the unseen weight children can carry while trying to hold a family together.
