The conductor, Eric Delson, wrote "Your piece was warmly welcomed by the public, the choir, the orchestra and of course the soloists, who I must say gave a beautiful performance of your piece and who were so sincerely appreciative of the vocal writing."
They performed the version with orchestra. It can also be performed with piano or organ, using the Vocal score. The two solo numbers can be sung unison by the choir sopranos.
