NPCA Affiliated Group Organizational Brick Offer
The National Peace Corp Association (NPCA) is partnering with PCLA to launch this first-of-its-kind Peace Corps initiative.
(Click here to hear NPCA President/CEO, Dan Baker, talk more about this partnership.)
The Peace Corps Legacy Association (PCLA) is now offering a bonus incentive to NPCA Affiliate Groups that encourage their members to support the Plaza.
What makes the Peace Corps Plaza special is its symbolic recognition of the Peace Corps through commemorative bricks of individual RPCVs, affiliate organizations, and other significant contributors to the Peace Corps. We are proud of our volunteer contributions to our nation, and we want the next generation to be inspired when visiting the Peace Corps Plaza. To date, brick donations have been received by individuals from 48 states, representing 109 countries of service -- and we invite you to join us by adding your bricks to this Plaza.
These commemorative bricks will include your name, country and years of service and your hometown. Larger bricks will have room for additional information such as multiple individuals on a brick, multiple countries of service, or other additional information. Honorary bricks recognizing the service of deceased volunteers are also encouraged.
The offer ...
When 25 of your members donate a brick to the Peace Corps Plaza, we will offer your organization a free 8x8 brick -- valued at $675 -- to be placed in the Plaza with your affiliate group’s logo, or your affiliate’s official name, whichever you prefer. See the two illustrations below.
Participation is easy
Forward this message (or develop your own) to your affiliate members via email and social media, encouraging them to order a brick for themselves and/or a colleague. Here’s the link: https://www.fundraisingbrick.com/online-orders/npca.
When ordering a brick, please be sure your members identify your affiliate group on the order form.
When your affiliate group reaches the 25-brick order milestone, PCLA will contact your affiliate and ask you to send us a high-quality image of your affiliate’s Logo or official name for etching onto your affiliate brick. The brick will be placed in the Peace Corps Plaza free of charge when construction commences.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing us at rpcvplaza@gmail.com. Include your phone number if you wish us to call you.
