PDT – Warehouse Management App

Bus Computers ("we", "us", or "our") operates the PDT mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.
The PDT App does not collect personal information. The App is designed for warehouse and inventory management purposes only.
The following non-personal operational data is used within the App:
Server URL – A URL entered by the user in the App settings, pointing to the client company's own server. This is stored locally on the device.
Broadcast receiver configuration – Settings for receiving barcode data from a hardware barcode scanner via Android Broadcast Intent. This data is stored locally and never transmitted externally.
Warehouse transaction data – Quantities of goods received or dispatched (e.g. reception orders, dispatch orders). This data is sent to the client company's server via API, as configured by the user.
All data processed by the App is used solely for the purpose of warehouse and inventory management operations. Specifically:
Barcode data received from the hardware scanner is used to identify goods during warehouse operations.
Transaction data (received/dispatched quantities) is sent to the server of the company using the App, as configured in the App settings.
No data is sent to Bus Computers or any third-party service.
Configuration data (server URL, broadcast settings) is stored locally on the user's device using Android SharedPreferences. This data does not leave the device except as part of API communication with the server configured by the user.
We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. Transaction data is transmitted exclusively to the server of the company that has deployed and configured the App, as specified by the user in the App settings.
The App uses the following Android permission:
INTERNET – Required to send warehouse transaction data to the configured server via API.
The App does not use the camera. Barcode scanning is performed via a hardware barcode scanner that sends data through Android Broadcast Intents.
The App is intended for use by business employees in a professional warehouse environment. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
