Privacy Policy for PDF Viewer & Reader
Last Updated: August 23, 2026
Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how our mobile application, PDF Viewer & Reader (referred to as "the App"), handles your information.
Our core philosophy is simple: Your document data belongs to you. The App is designed as a secure document viewing utility.
1. Data Collection and Usage
The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit your personal files, documents, or personal identification details (such as your name, email address, or phone number).
However, to keep the App free to use, we integrate third-party advertising services (Google AdMob). AdMob may collect and process certain non-personal device information automatically to serve ads and prevent fraud.
2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used
To provide a reading experience, the App requires specific device permissions used exclusively to power features locally on your screen:
Storage / Files Access: Used solely to scan, locate, and display the PDF files stored on your device so you can read them.
Local Bookmarks & Reading History: Saved strictly within the App's local database on your device to let you resume reading where you left off.
Display / Appearance Settings: Utilizes your local system settings to render PDFs in Dark Mode or Light Mode.
Note: None of the PDF files you view, bookmark, or open are ever read, uploaded, or monitored by us or any third party.
3. Third-Party Advertising Services
The App integrates Google AdMob to display ads (Banner, Native, and Interstitial ads). Google AdMob may collect and use specific data, including:
Advertising IDs (GAID): Used to serve, frequency-cap, and measure the performance of advertisements.
IP Address & Device Identifiers: Used for coarse location (country/city level), diagnostic purposes, and anti-fraud detection.
App Performance Metrics: Diagnostic logs to ensure ad stability and prevent crashes.
For more information on how Google processes your data, please review Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
4. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. AdMob advertising configurations are set to comply with applicable children's privacy regulations, including COPPA and GDPR.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
