DIGITAL FL TORIQUL LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the "PDF to TXT Converter" mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, why it is needed, and how it is used.
Core Functionality
PDF to TXT Converter helps users choose a PDF file from their device, extract readable text, preview the converted text, save a TXT file, share a TXT file, copy text, and view recent conversion history inside the App.
Offline Processing
PDF text extraction is processed on your device. We do not upload your PDF files, TXT files, or converted text to our server. The App does not require an internet connection to convert PDF files into TXT.
Information We Access
PDF files selected by you:
The App accesses only the PDF file you choose through the Android file picker. This is required to extract text and create a TXT result.
File name, size, and page count:
These details may be shown in the App so you can identify the selected file and converted result.
Converted text:
Converted text is shown in the preview screen and may be copied, saved, or shared only when you choose those actions.
Conversion history:
The App may save simple recent conversion details locally on your device, such as file name, size, time, and a short text preview. You can clear this history from the App.
OCR Processing
If a PDF does not contain readable embedded text, the App may try to read text from PDF pages using on-device text recognition. This processing happens on your device.
Permissions Used
File picker access:
The App uses Android's file picker so you can select a PDF file. The App does not request full storage access.
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:
These permissions are used for advertising and network availability checks. They are not required for PDF conversion.
Advertising
The App may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may process certain device or ad-related information according to Google's policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your PDF files, TXT files, or converted text.
Data Collection
We do not collect personal information such as name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, messages, payment information, PDF file contents, TXT file contents, or personal files.
Data Sharing
We do not share your PDF files, TXT files, or converted text with our server. If you tap Share, Android may show apps installed on your device, and the selected app's own privacy policy may apply.
Local Storage
The App may save simple preferences locally, such as selected language, first launch status, and recent conversion history.
External Links
The App may open Google Play pages when you tap Rate App or More Apps. Google Play is operated by Google and its own privacy policy may apply.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates may be shown in the App or on the Google Play Store listing.
