PDF Studio - View, Read, Edit is a productivity application for Android devices. It allows users to view, create, edit, merge, split, lock, and unlock PDF documents.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required for: Android 9 and below (API 28 and below)
Purpose: To scan your device and display existing documents (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.) in the file browser.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required for: Android 9 and below (API 28 and below)
Purpose: To save newly created or edited PDF files to your device storage.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required for: Android 11 & 12 (API 30–32)
Purpose: To access files across your device storage (Downloads, Documents, WhatsApp, etc.), which is necessary for a full-featured document manager.
Without this permission, the app would only access its own files, limiting functionality.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
Required for: Android 13 and above (API 33+)
Purpose: To allow you to select images from your gallery for the “Image to PDF” feature.
READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED
Required for: Android 14 and above (API 34+)
Purpose: Allows access only to images you specifically select, giving you more control over your privacy.
Files are accessed strictly for the operations you perform:

Split PDF | Creates separate files from selected PDF
Lock/Unlock PDF | Applies or removes password protection
Image to PDF | Converts selected images into a PDF
Text to PDF | Converts typed content into a PDF
Resume/Certificate Builder | Generates PDFs from user input

Files never leave your device
No content is copied or transmitted externally
This app does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools that collect user data.
This app is safe for all users, including children under 13.
