PDF STUDIO PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: July 23, 2026
App: PDF Studio
Package: com.pdfstudio.basic
Developer: hysoft
Privacy contact: sponsorme360@gmail.com
1. SCOPE
This policy covers the advertising-supported PDF Studio app for Android. It does not cover PDF Studio Pro (com.pdfstudio.pro), which has a separate privacy policy and does not contain advertising.
PDF Studio has no user accounts or hysoft-operated document server. PDF documents and document contents stay on the device unless the user starts an action that sends a file to another app or storage provider. Network access is used by Google Mobile Ads, Google's consent service, and Google Play services components; hysoft does not use it to upload PDFs to its own server.
2. DOCUMENTS AND OTHER DATA PROCESSED ON THE DEVICE
PDF Studio accesses data needed for the document action the user starts:
PDFs, images, and scanned pages selected by the user.
Text recognized by OCR, search text, annotations, signatures, form entries, bookmarks, and PDF passwords entered for a requested operation.
File names, file locations, page counts, first-page previews, recent-file history, and resume positions used by the local library.
App settings such as theme, viewer preferences, consent state, and read-aloud state.
Imported documents may be copied into the app's private library so they remain available in Recent and Library. Editing and conversion tools may create temporary working files and new output files. PDF passwords are used for the requested operation; the app does not save them as account credentials or send them to hysoft.
PDF Studio does not upload document contents, scans, recognized text, signatures, or passwords to a hysoft server or provide those items to advertisers.
3. ADVERTISING AND CONSENT
PDF Studio uses the Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK to show banner ads and an interstitial after the user leaves the PDF viewer. Google reports that this SDK automatically collects and shares the following data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location.
Product interactions, including app launches, taps, ad interactions, and video views where applicable.
Diagnostic information such as app or SDK launch time, hang rate, performance, and energy use.
Device and account identifiers, including Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other applicable device or signed-in account identifiers.
The advertising SDK may also use Android Privacy Sandbox services, including Topics, ad attribution, and advertising-ID services, where the device supports them. Google states that data sent by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit with TLS. Google and participating advertising partners handle that data under their own policies.

hysoft may receive aggregated AdMob reports such as ad impressions, clicks, and revenue. Those reports are not intended to contain PDF contents, scans, OCR results, signatures, or PDF passwords.
PDF Studio uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request current consent information at app launch and show a privacy message where required. Consent selections and related privacy signals may be stored on the device and sent to Google or eligible ad partners. Settings includes Privacy choices when Google requires that control for the user's region. A user can also reset or delete the Android advertising ID in Android Settings. Depending on region and choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads.
4. FILE ACCESS
The Android system file picker lets the user choose individual files without granting broad storage access. The app also offers optional All files access so its Device PDFs view can find PDFs across shared storage and save requested outputs. The app uses this access for PDF discovery and user-requested file operations. It does not give PDF contents to the advertising SDK.
On Android 12 and earlier, the app may request the older read-storage permission for the same Device PDFs feature. Users can deny or revoke file access in Android Settings and continue using the system file picker.
5. SCANNING AND OCR
Scanning uses Google Play services ML Kit Document Scanner. Google states that the scanner flow runs on the device, uses Google Play services' camera permission, and returns only the pages the user chooses to share with PDF Studio. The app itself does not declare Android's camera permission. The scanner's models, interface, and scanning logic may be downloaded by Google Play services.
OCR uses the bundled Google ML Kit Text Recognition model and runs on the device. Google states that ML Kit does not send feature inputs, such as images or text, or resulting outputs to Google servers.
ML Kit may still collect technical data for diagnostics and usage measurement: device and app information, per-install identifiers, performance measurements, image format or resolution, input and output size, feature version, event types, and error codes. Google states that it encrypts this technical data in transit and does not transfer it to third parties.

6. SHARING AND EXTERNAL DESTINATIONS
Files leave PDF Studio only when the user chooses an external destination, including Android Share, Print, Open in, a cloud-backed file picker, or another installed app. The selected provider receives the file under its own terms and privacy policy. hysoft does not control those providers.
Google Play may process installation, purchase, licensing, and device data as the app-store provider. PDF Studio does not receive the user's full payment-card details.
7. RETENTION AND DELETION
App-library documents, previews, recent history, and settings remain on the device until the user deletes the document, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls PDF Studio. Files exported to Downloads, shared storage, cloud storage, or another app must be deleted from that destination separately.
The app has no hysoft account or hysoft server record to delete. Google and advertising partners retain advertising, consent, diagnostic, and identifier data according to their policies and the user's privacy choices.
8. SECURITY
Android app storage and URI permission controls protect app-local files from ordinary access by other apps. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for PDF Studio's local files and preferences. The app blocks cleartext network traffic; supported network traffic uses encrypted connections. Users remain responsible for device security, backups of important documents, and the destinations they choose when exporting or sharing.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PDF Studio is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. hysoft does not knowingly collect children's personal data through an account or developer server because the app has neither. The app must not be offered as child-directed without changing its advertising configuration and store declarations to meet the rules that apply.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
hysoft may update this policy when app features, advertising partners, SDKs, permissions, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will appear in the policy linked from the Google Play listing and inside the app.
