PDF Sprint ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location data.
The core functionality of PDF Sprint relies on processing documents and images.
Local Processing: All file operations—including converting files, merging, extracting, adding passwords, stamping, and editing PDFs—are performed entirely on-device.
No Cloud Storage: We do not upload, store, or transmit your documents, PDFs, or images to our servers or any third-party cloud storage.
The App requires access to your device's camera and photo gallery to function properly.
Document Scanning: We use on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit) to scan documents, detect edges, and crop images. The images you capture or select are processed locally.
Image Insertion: If you choose to insert an image or signature into a PDF, the App accesses your local files to do so, but this data remains on your device.
To provide our features, the App requests the following permissions:
Storage/Files Access: To open, read, edit, and save PDF files and images on your device.
Camera Access: To scan physical documents and insert them as digital pages.
We may use third-party tools or frameworks to power certain features of the App. These third parties have their own privacy policies:
Google ML Kit: Used for local document scanning and edge detection. Processing occurs on-device, though ML Kit may collect standard usage metrics as per Google's Privacy Policy.
Flutter & Dart: The framework used to build the App.
We prioritize the security of your data. Because all processing is handled locally on your device, your documents are as secure as the device itself. We recommend utilizing your device's built-in security features (such as passwords, biometric locks, and encryption) to protect your files.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
