Shimon Bitton ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PDF Compressor mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information through the App. The App is designed with privacy in mind and operates entirely on your local device.
All content you create, import, scan, or process through the App (including images, documents, and PDFs) is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to, collect, store, or transmit this content to our servers or any third parties.
We do not collect any device-specific information such as your device ID, operating system version, or device model.
We do not collect analytics or usage data about how you interact with the App.
When you make an in-app purchase through Apple's App Store:
The transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit
We receive only a confirmation that a valid subscription is active
We do NOT receive your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID
Apple's privacy policy governs the collection and use of payment information
Since we do not collect personal information or user content, we do not use your information in any way. All App functionality operates locally on your device.
The only information we receive is subscription status from Apple's App Store, which we use solely to:
Verify your subscription entitlement
Enable Pro features for subscribed users
Restore purchases when requested
All your PDFs, images, and documents are stored exclusively in your device's local storage. This data is:
Not transmitted to our servers
Not accessible to us or any third parties
Protected by your device's built-in security features
Subject to your device's backup settings (iCloud, etc.)
The App provides an option to exclude your PDF library from iCloud backup. If you enable this setting:
Your PDFs will not be backed up to iCloud
Your PDFs will not sync across your devices
If you delete the App or reset your device, your PDFs will be permanently lost
PDFs are stored on your device until you manually delete them or delete the App
The App provides an auto-delete feature that can automatically remove PDFs after a specified number of days (configurable from 0-365 days)
When you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device
We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for any reason because:
We do not collect or have access to your personal information
All your content remains on your device
We do not operate servers that store user data
The App integrates with the following Apple services:
Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases):
Used for subscription management
Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing
We only receive subscription status information
Apple PhotosUI:
Used to access your photo library (with your permission)
Photos are processed locally on your device
No photos are transmitted to us or third parties
Apple VisionKit:
Used for document scanning
Scanning occurs entirely on your device
No scanned images are transmitted to us or third parties
When you use the App's share functionality to export or share PDFs:
You explicitly choose where and how to share your content
Sharing is handled by iOS's native sharing system
We do not control or have access to shared content
The recipient's privacy policy governs how they handle shared content
All your data is stored locally on your device. You have complete access to:
View all PDFs in the Library tab
Export PDFs at any time
Delete individual PDFs or all PDFs through the Settings
You can delete your data at any time by:
Deleting individual PDFs from the Library
Using "Clear All PDFs" in Settings to delete all stored PDFs
Deleting the App from your device (permanently removes all data)
The App requests permission to access your photo library to allow you to:
Select images to convert to PDF
Import photos for PDF creation
You can revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
The App requests camera access for document scanning. You can revoke camera access at any time through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through:
iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
Your Apple ID Account Settings
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect information from this age group.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please note that all data is stored locally on the device and can be deleted by removing the App.
Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect or transmit personal information, there are no international data transfers.
If you use iCloud backup (controlled by your device settings), Apple's privacy policy governs how your backed-up data is handled and where it may be stored.
We are committed to protecting your information. Since all data is stored locally on your device:
Your data benefits from your device's built-in security features (encryption, passcode/biometric protection)
No data transmission means no risk of interception
No server storage means no risk of server breaches
However, please remember that:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device
Anyone with access to your unlocked device can access the App and your PDFs
We recommend using device passcode or biometric protection
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.
We will notify you of any material changes by:
Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
Providing an in-app notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. However, since we do not collect personal information, these rights are not applicable to our App:

Advertising identifiers

The App does NOT display advertisements or work with advertising partners.
Since we do not track users, Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not applicable to our App.
Since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, traditional data breaches affecting our systems cannot expose your information. Your data security depends on your device security.
The App does not contain links to third-party websites or services.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, this Privacy Policy would continue to apply to the App. Since we do not collect user data, there would be no user data to transfer.
While we do not collect your data, we may be required to cooperate with law enforcement under valid legal processes. However, since your data is stored only on your device, we have no access to your content and cannot provide it to authorities.
