PDFora – PDF Scanner & Tools is an offline Android document toolkit published by Ekodijitalimcom. This policy describes the information PDFora processes in the version distributed through Google Play.
Summary

Information processed on your device
When you select an image or PDF through Android's document picker, PDFora processes the selected file locally for the operation you request, such as conversion, merging, splitting, compression, page editing, watermarking, scanning, or OCR. Source files and generated outputs remain on your device unless you explicitly choose an Android sharing, printing, or export destination.
PDFora stores generated files in app-private storage. It also stores limited local preferences, such as recent and favorite filenames, onboarding completion, theme choice, and the timestamp of a locally saved AI-report state. These values are used only to provide the app's local features and are not sent to Ekodijitalimcom by the current release.
The OCR feature uses the bundled ML Kit Latin recognition model on the device. OCR results may contain errors. PDFora does not send the selected document or OCR text to a remote OCR service in this release, and OCR does not automatically create a searchable text layer in the source PDF.
Camera and temporary files
For scanning, PDFora can ask the camera application installed on your device to capture an image. PDFora does not request the Android CAMERA permission in this release. The camera receives a temporary, app-private URI grant; the captured image is used for the requested PDF operation and temporary processing files are deleted after completion or cancellation where applicable.
Sharing and printing
If you choose Share, Print, or another export action, Android sends the selected output to the application or destination you choose. That destination may process the file under its own privacy policy. PDFora does not control how a destination you select handles the exported content.
AI features
The current Google Play release contains no configured remote AI service and does not transmit documents to an AI provider. If a future release enables a remote AI service, this policy and the in-app disclosure will be updated before document content is transmitted. The update will identify the provider, purpose, region, retention, deletion process, and any consent required. AI-generated results may contain errors and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Advertising, analytics, and purchases
The current release contains no advertising SDK, analytics service, crash-reporting service, or Play Billing product. If these services are added in a future release, the relevant disclosures will be updated before the change is distributed.
Retention and deletion
Generated files remain in PDFora's app-private storage until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall PDFora. You can delete generated files using the app's delete controls. Android's application backup is disabled in the current release; device and operating-system behavior outside PDFora's control may vary, including manufacturer-specific device-transfer behavior.
PDFora does not maintain a remote copy of your documents in this release. Because the app has no account or remote document service, there is no server-side document deletion request to process.
Security
PDFora uses app-private storage for generated files and temporary Android URI permissions for user-selected or camera-created content. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, so keep your device and Android software protected and share documents only with destinations you trust.
Children
PDFora is not directed to children under 13. Ekodijitalimcom does not knowingly collect personal information from children through PDFora. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at papatyam182@gmail.com.
International users and changes
PDFora is intended for users worldwide. We may update this policy when the app's data practices change or when legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
