Welcome to PDF Mate ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Mate collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
By downloading and using PDF Mate, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
PDF Mate does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App. We do not collect any personal data directly from you.
All PDF files, documents, and images that you open, edit, convert, or process using PDF Mate are handled entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your files on our servers. Your documents never leave your device.
While we do not personally collect any data, certain third-party services integrated into the App may automatically collect limited technical information. This includes:
• Device information (device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers)
• App usage information (features used, app crashes, session duration)

• IP address and approximate location (country/region level only)
• Network information (Wi-Fi or mobile data connection type)
PDF Mate is a free app supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads within the App.
Google AdMob may collect and use data from your device to show you relevant ads. This includes:
• Google Advertising ID (GAID) – a unique, resettable identifier used for ad targeting and measurement
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• Device and app usage information
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
By default, AdMob may show personalized ads based on your interests and browsing behavior. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a consent dialog. If consent is not given, non-personalized ads will be shown instead.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by:
• Going to your Android device Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Resetting your Google Advertising ID in the same Ads settings menu
• Visiting Google's Ad Settings at: https://adssettings.google.com
Google AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can review it at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The limited information collected through third-party services is used for the following purposes:
• To display advertisements within the App and keep PDF Mate free for all users
• To analyze app performance, crashes, and usage patterns to improve the App
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for any purpose other than what is described in this Privacy Policy.
All files you process in PDF Mate (PDFs, images, documents) are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your files at any time.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data associated with the App. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data collected by third-party services like AdMob.
