PDFKnot is designed to process your PDF documents primarily on your device.

All document processing is performed locally on your device whenever possible.

Your PDF files are not uploaded to our servers.

Files remain under your control unless you explicitly choose to share or export them.

3. Camera, OCR and QR Scanner

Certain features require camera access, including:

• Camera Scan

• OCR Scanner

• QR Scanner

Images and scanned content are processed only to provide the requested functionality.

We do not sell, store, or share your scanned documents with third parties.

4. Storage Access

PDFKnot requires access to files and media so you can:

• Open documents

• Save edited PDFs

• Export files

• Import images

• Share documents

The app accesses only the files you choose.

5. Google Sign-In

If you sign in with your Google account:

• Your Google account authentication is handled securely by Google.

• We may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile photo.

• This information is used only for account features inside PDFKnot.

We do not sell your Google account information.

6. Premium Purchases

Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases are securely processed through Google Play Billing.

We never receive or store:

• Debit card details

• Banking information

Purchase verification is performed through Google Play services.

7. Advertising

The free version of PDFKnot displays advertisements using Google AdMob.
