This Privacy Policy explains how PDFit - Image to PDF (“PDFit”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), developed and operated by MULTIVIBE, accesses, processes, stores, uses, and shares information when you use the App.
By downloading or using PDFit, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
PDFit is a document utility application that allows users to:
Scan documents using the device camera
Select one or more images from the device
Crop, rotate, organise, and preview document pages
Convert images and scanned pages into PDF files
Preview generated PDF documents
Save PDF files to the device
Open, organise, rename, delete, and share PDF documents
PDFit does not require users to create an account or sign in.
PDFit requests access to the device camera only when you choose to scan a document.
Camera access is used only to capture document images initiated by you.
PDFit does not:
Activate the camera in the background
Record video or audio without your action
Use camera content for advertising
Use scanned content to create advertising profiles
You may deny or revoke camera permission through your device settings. If camera permission is denied, camera scanning will not work, but other available features may remain usable.
When you select or scan an image, PDFit processes that image to create or edit a PDF document.
Selected images, scanned pages, thumbnails, and generated PDF documents are processed locally on your device.
MULTIVIBE does not upload the contents of your selected images, scanned documents, or generated PDF files to its own servers.
To organise documents within the App, PDFit may store limited local metadata, such as:
Document file name
File size
File location or local file reference
Date created or modified
Page count
Favourite status
Thumbnail reference
This information is stored locally on your device and is used only to provide document-management features.
PDFit may save generated PDF files to a user-accessible location, such as:
Downloads/PDFit/
The App may also use temporary local storage while:
Processing images
Creating PDF files
Generating thumbnails
Displaying previews
Preparing files for sharing
Temporary files may be deleted after processing or when they are no longer required.
You control the documents saved on your device and may delete them using PDFit, the Android Files application, or another file-management application.
PDFit does not require unrestricted “All files access” for its normal document features.
PDFit allows you to open and share PDF documents using compatible applications installed on your device.
A PDF is provided to another application or recipient only after you actively choose an action such as:
Open PDF
Share PDF
View in Downloads
Save or export the document
PDFit does not automatically send your documents to third parties.
Once you share a PDF with another application or recipient, that application or recipient handles the file according to its own terms and privacy practices.
PDFit may store local preferences, such as:
Default PDF name
PDF quality
Default filter
Auto-save preference
Consent status
Interface preferences
These preferences are stored locally to remember your choices.
Depending on the features you use, PDFit may access the following permissions or Android system services.
Used only when you choose to scan a document.
Used when you choose to import images.
Where supported, PDFit uses the Android system photo picker so that you can select specific images without granting access to your entire photo library.
Used to create and save PDF files in a user-accessible or user-selected location through Android-supported storage methods.
Used to:
Request and display advertisements through Google AdMob
Obtain advertising consent information where required
Load privacy messages and advertising-related configuration
Support advertising security and fraud prevention
Internet access is not used by MULTIVIBE to upload the contents of your scanned documents or PDF files to its own servers.
PDFit does not require access to:
Contacts
Call logs
SMS messages
Microphone
Precise GPS location
Background location
Calendar
Accessibility services
Unrestricted access to all files
PDFit is a free application supported by advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
The App may display:
Interstitial advertisements
Rewarded interstitial advertisements
Interstitial advertisements may be displayed only at suitable transition points in the App.
Rewarded advertisements are optional. Before a rewarded advertisement is shown, PDFit explains the offered reward and allows you to decide whether to continue.
Declining a rewarded advertisement does not prevent you from using the App’s standard PDF creation and document-management features.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information for advertising, analytics, performance measurement, security, and fraud-prevention purposes.
This information may include:
Device IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
App launches
Taps and other interactions
Advertisement views
Video views
App and advertising performance information
App launch time
Hang rate
Energy usage
Diagnostic information
Android Advertising ID
App Set ID
Other applicable device or account identifiers
Google may use this information to:

Google processes advertising-related information according to Google’s own terms, privacy policies, and advertising policies.
Where required by applicable law, PDFit uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent and privacy choices.

PDFit checks whether consent is required before requesting advertisements.
Where required, PDFit provides a visible Privacy Choices or Manage Privacy Choices option inside the App so that eligible users can review or modify their advertising choices.

MULTIVIBE does not sell, rent, or trade the contents of your scanned documents, selected images, or generated PDF files.

Advertising-related device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, IP address, and advertising information may be collected and shared with Google through the Google Mobile Ads SDK for:

When you choose to open or share a PDF, the selected file may be provided to the application, service, or recipient that you select.
Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law
Respond to valid legal processes

Selected images, scanned pages, PDF files, document metadata, and app preferences are normally stored locally on your device.
You control how long downloaded PDF files remain on your device.
Local document information may remain until:
You delete the document
You delete the file through a file-management application
You clear PDFit’s app data
You uninstall PDFit
Temporary files may be removed after processing or when they are no longer required.
Advertising-related information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s applicable privacy and data-retention practices.
PDFit uses reasonable technical measures and Android platform security features to protect information processed through the App.

Android scoped-storage protections

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for:

Reviewing PDF files before sharing them

Ensuring that you have permission to scan, store, or share a document
Avoiding unauthorised or unlawful use of document content
You may:
Deny or revoke camera permission
Select only the images you want to import
Cancel an image-selection or scanning operation
Delete locally stored document records
Delete generated PDF files
Clear PDFit’s app data
Uninstall PDFit
Reset or delete your Android Advertising ID
Review eligible advertising privacy choices
Decide whether to watch an optional rewarded advertisement
Decide whether to open or share a document
Some features may become unavailable when a required permission is denied.
PDFit does not require an account and does not maintain an online user profile on MULTIVIBE servers.
You may delete locally stored data by:
Deleting individual documents inside PDFit
Deleting PDF files through the Android Files application
Clearing PDFit’s storage through Android Settings
Uninstalling PDFit
Clearing app data or uninstalling PDFit may not delete PDF files that you previously saved in the public Downloads folder. Those files must be deleted separately through PDFit or a file-management application.
For advertising information processed by Google, you may use the privacy and deletion controls provided through your Google Account, Android settings, or Google’s services.
PDFit is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed to children under the age of 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country.
PDFit does not require children or other users to create an account or directly provide personal information to MULTIVIBE.
Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided information inappropriately may contact MULTIVIBE using the contact information below.
Google and its service providers may process advertising-related information in countries other than the country where you live.
Such processing is governed by the safeguards, contractual terms, and privacy practices used by Google and its service providers.
The contents of your selected images, scanned documents, and generated PDF files are not intentionally uploaded by PDFit to MULTIVIBE servers for international processing.
PDFit may interact with third-party services and Android system components, including:
Google AdMob
Google User Messaging Platform
Android Camera
Android Photo Picker
Android Storage Access Framework
Android Files application
Android Open With system
Android Sharesheet
These services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
PDFit is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party applications or recipients selected by you.
