We do not require an account to use Papriva.
We do not collect:
- Name, email address, or contact details through the App
- Document contents from your conversions, scans, or edits
- Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral tracking data
- Location data
- Contacts or address book data
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the App.

## Information Processed on Your Device
When you use Papriva, the following data is processed locally on your device only:
- Files you select for conversion, compression, signing, watermarking, or editing
- Images captured through the camera for document or ID scanning
- Signatures you draw within the App
- Conversion history and output files stored in the App's local storage
- App settings, including language preference and optional security settings
This processing happens on your device. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers and do not require an internet connection for core features.

## Device Permissions
Papriva may request the following permissions only when needed for a feature you choose to use:
**Camera** — Used to scan documents and capture ID or card images. The camera is accessed only when you start a scan.
**Photo Library** — Used when you select images or files from your gallery, or when you save exported images. Access occurs only when you initiate the action.
**Face ID / Touch ID** — Used only if you enable optional biometric app lock. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS. We do not receive or store your biometric data.
You can revoke permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings.

## File Access and Storage
Files you open, convert, or create through Papriva are stored in the App's local documents area on your device.
The App accesses files only when you explicitly select them through the system file picker, photo picker, or camera.
You can clear your conversion history at any time from within the App. Uninstalling Papriva removes App data stored on your device, subject to iOS system behavior.

## Sharing and Exports
When you share or export a file using iOS share sheets, AirDrop, email, or other system features, that transfer is initiated by you and handled by iOS and the service you choose. We do not control and are not responsible for how third-party apps or services handle files you share with them.

## Purchases
Papriva is distributed through the Apple App Store. Payment and purchase records are processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details.

## Share Extension
If you use the Papriva share extension, files you share into the App are received locally on your device for conversion. These files are not transmitted to us.

## Children's Privacy
Papriva is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

## Data Security
We design Papriva with privacy in mind. Because document processing occurs on your device, your files are not transmitted to our servers.
Optional biometric app lock adds an extra layer of protection using iOS security features. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and maintaining control over your files.

You have full control over your data:
- Choose which files to open, convert, or delete
- Clear conversion history within the App
