This document describes the data handling procedures for the PDF Hub mobile application (referred to as the "Application"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and the security of your information. This policy is designed to clearly and simply explain the data practices associated with your use of our Application.
The contents of your files are processed locally on your device. The main operations of PDF Hub—such as viewing, modification, format conversion, and general file organization—are performed entirely within your mobile device. We do not upload, transfer, or transmit the data within your personal documents to our servers or to any third parties.
To ensure the consistent performance and stability of the Application across different devices, we automatically gather certain technical information. This data is exclusively used for technical diagnostics, application maintenance, and performance enhancement, and it does not contain information that can personally identify you.
Device Details: Device model, manufacturer, and current operating system version (e.g., Android 14).
Connectivity Information: Basic mobile network data and unique identifiers linked to the device.
We monitor the Application's health by collecting anonymous statistics on its functionality. This process assists us in identifying software defects and understanding the usage popularity of various features.
Feature Usage Metrics: General data on the frequency with which specific tools are accessed (e.g., the "Combine PDF" function is used frequently).
Crash Logs: Records generated when the app encounters an unexpected shutdown. These system reports are used strictly for troubleshooting and resolving bugs.
PDF Hub is offered as a free service and is monetized through integrated advertisements. These advertisements are delivered by independent third-party advertising networks, which may collect specific data points to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you.
The data points commonly gathered by our advertising partners include:
Advertising Identifier: The unique advertising ID associated with your device.
IP Address: Used to approximate your general geographical location for the purpose of targeted advertising.
Ad Interaction Data: Information detailing how you engage with the advertisements presented to you.
The use and management of this data are governed by the respective privacy policies of these third-party advertising providers. Our current partners include, but are not limited to: AppLovin, Admob (Google), Facebook (Meta), Pangle, Vungle, and MTG. We recommend reviewing their individual policies.
To deliver comprehensive document management services, such as allowing you to browse and select documents from any directory on your device storage, PDF Hub requires the "All Files Access" permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This elevated permission is utilized only to enable the file selection and document saving functions that you initiate within the Application interface.
