CheckSum Technologies (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) built PDF-X as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use PDF-X.

App Store review content you choose to submit publicly
Depending on device settings and enabled services, we and our third-party providers may collect:
Device type, OS version, app version
App usage events and diagnostics

Subscription and purchase status metadata (not full card data)
PDF-X processes files you select (for example PDFs, images, and office files).
Some operations may happen locally on-device, while others may involve secure third-party or server processing depending on the feature.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple via App Store billing.
We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
We may receive subscription status, entitlement, and transaction metadata from Apple and subscription platforms (e.g., RevenueCat) to provide premium access.
The free version of PDF-X may display ads (for example via Google AdMob).
Ad providers may collect and process data under their own privacy policies, including identifiers and usage data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
PDF-X may use third-party services such as:
Apple App Store / StoreKit (payments)
RevenueCat (subscription management)
Google AdMob (advertising)
Firebase services (analytics, crash reporting, remote config, messaging)
Other document-processing/service providers used by specific tools
These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We retain information only as long as needed for legitimate business, legal, and operational purposes, such as:
Delivering app functionality
Maintaining subscription access state
Debugging and security monitoring

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data.
However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PDF-X is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on service providers and infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections.
