PDF Studio is an Android app for reading, viewing, editing, combining, compressing, organizing, protecting, and converting PDF files.
Information we collect
PDF Studio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with the developer. The app does not require account registration, login, analytics tracking, advertising identifiers, location access, contacts access, camera access, microphone access, or broad storage access.
Documents and files
When you choose a PDF or image file, Android's system file picker grants PDF Studio access only to the files you select. The app uses those files to perform the action you requested, such as viewing, editing, combining, compressing, organizing pages, protecting a PDF with a password, creating a PDF from images, or extracting images from a PDF.
Local processing
Your document contents are processed locally on your device. PDF Studio does not upload your PDFs, images, extracted images, passwords, comments, drawings, highlights, or edited text to a server.
Saved files
When you save a result, PDF Studio may store a copy in app storage and may also save an exported copy to a public device location such as Downloads, Documents, or Pictures, depending on the feature you use. These files remain under your control on your device.
Sharing
If you use the share option, PDF Studio opens Android's system share sheet. The selected file is shared only with the app or contact you choose.
Passwords and protected PDFs
If you open or create a password-protected PDF, the password is used locally to unlock or protect that document. PDF Studio does not send PDF passwords to the developer or to a remote server.
Third-party services
The current Android app does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, cloud storage, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs. This Google Sites page is used only to host this public Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
PDF Studio is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features change. If a future version adds cloud sync, account login, analytics, ads, or another data collection feature, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosure should be updated before release.
