I just updated to the new Yosemite operating system. I have been trying to mail merge an excel document into a Word document to make labels and keep getting the message that says "This file needs to be opened by the Excel Workbook text converter, which may pose a security risk if the file you are opening is a malicious file. Choose OK to open this file only if you are sure it is from a trusted source." Which it is, because I made the excel spreadsheet. Then, I hit okay and I get this, "The converter necessary to open this file cannot be found."

We're running MicroStation SS10. We have a project with V8 DGN files stored in ProjectWise (PW). The client requires merged DGNs (i.e. no reference attachments). Appreciating the information that others have put up here regarding how to use the Batch Converter for this process, we created a new folder in PW for the merged files to be placed into, fired up Batch Converter, opened up the V8 Save options, made sure all references' were set to Merge, and chose two files to convert as a test. We then processed the files. New files did indeed get created in the PW folder.

However, two odd things occurred:

1. The time each takes to convert is listed as 0.0 seconds. The status column indicates "Already Converted".

2. When I open one of the newly converted files, nothing is merged. The resulting file still has all the references attached, as though we had merely copied the file over to a new folder.

I tried this twice: once with a fie I was already in, and once more with a file I was not in.

What am I missing???

This always works for me but without projectwise and V8iss4 and even better when I use option convert to DWG ...it must be a projectwise thing to change to allow mstn to create the new files and perform the merge....

This free video merger can help you merge and concatenate your video files, it can join and combine multiple video files into one file. The tool supports various video clips, such as MP4, AVI, M4V, MKV, MOV, WMV and more. These files will be connected one by one in the order you entered. The generated video will have the same width and height as the first video file, and the other video files will be automatically resized to fit it. You need to select at least two files, the third and fourth files are optional. The tool will try to maintain the video quality and audio quality so that it can be as good as the source video files. In addition, if you need merge more than four video files, you should select the first four video files and create the first output file, then use this output file as the first file and attach the remaining video files, if you have many video files, you need repeat this process. The output format is MP4 video.

Hi we are using QIIME2-2019.10 installed by Conda.

We have had trouble merging paired reads using DADA2 for 16s rRNA gene reads. As a test when using CLC Genomics Workbench we got 50% successfully merged but with DADA2 we are lucky to get 5%. This has been a consistent problem with different sequence sets when using DADA2, which otherwise we are happy with. As a result we have used single end reads as others have suggested.

Hi Elissa and Guy,

The optimization of DADA2 truncating parameters in order to get proper merging has been thoroughly covered in the forum. Ultimately you will need a minimum of 12 nt overlap between your forward and reverse reads for DADA2 to merge them.

Can you describe your set up and perhaps we can help with that before looking at other options. What are the primers you are using and what is the length of the overlap region with those, what sequencing platform did you use, and how long are your sequences? (2x300?)

I am playin a grand campaign starting with CK3. Now I am done with my EU4 run and wish to convert to Vic2, however I get this error message while converting a save "Cannot merge converted_siberian_pagan with , (double space here) has no Vic2 mapping! Check religion_map.txt!". Please notice that it feels like something is missing both after "..._pagan with" and before "has no Vic2". I tried to check if there are all religion in religion_map, there were a couple missing. I added them the same way the other are mentioned there, but it didn't help. I still get the same error and the mod is ignored, game just starts with its default campaign. Another quick notice is that I had a custom religion created in CK3 and it was converted to EU4 perfectly, can it be a problem?

I still cannot believe the sound quality improvement in the audio control room, all due to the fine microphone preamps and converters in Hapi/Horus. These are the highest quality I've experienced.

The Networked Audio range of converters brings Swiss-precision and un-ending attention to detail in every single component and signal path and results in the most astonishing of record and reproduction signal paths of any audio interface or converter available today.

Merging converters are commendably kind to the planet and offer options for redundancy and remote operation. Recording in a Siberian cave or an African desert is easy with a Hapi operating on battery power or the optional DC power unit can act as an alternative or back-up supply. A redundant or secondary power option is available for Horus.

I need a very simple/basic command line (CLI) solution. Best would be if I could pipe the output of the merge / convert straight into pdf2ps ( as originally attempted in my previously asked question here: Linux piping ( convert -> pdf2ps -> lp) ).

pdfunite is fine to merge entire PDFs. If you want, for example, pages 2-7 from file1.pdf and pages 1,3,4 from file2.pdf, you have to use pdfseparate to split the files into separate PDFs for each page to give to pdfunite.

At that point you probably want a program with more options. qpdf is the best utility I've found for manipulating PDFs. pdftk is bigger and slower and Red Hat/Fedora don't package it because of its dependency on gcj. Other PDF utilities have Mono or Python dependencies. I found qpdf produced a much smaller output file than using pdfseparate and pdfunite to assemble pages into a 30-page output PDF, 970kB vs. 1,6450 kB. Because it offers many more options, qpdf's command line is not as simple; the original request to merge file1 and file2 can be performed with

The following Bash script merges all available PDFs in a folder one by one and gives a success status after each merge. Just copy it in the folder with the PDFs and execute from there.

If your match video is in multiple files, be sure to merge the files into one before you upload. There are a number of free programs you can use to do this. Many of our coaches use Any Video Converter (AVC). If you have an IT department, they may have other options available to you.

I used Plink 1.9 to recode all the vcf.gz to binary bed files. Now I am using --merge-list to merge each chromosome together into one file. I am curious if I should be worried about the warnings about multiple positions for variants. If that is an issue why was it not mentioned in the vcf to plink conversion, and how does a rsID have more than one position unless they meant more than one base pair like it was a structural variant? The multiple chromosomes seen I am not so sure what that means unless it is an error?

I have tried MKVtoolNix but it does not work: it creates a file as big as the sum of the 4 files I have (so 8.4 GB), but it is actually the first file so the other 3 files have not been merged to the first.

What you need is this: It's a free program to merge/stitch your files. Just click 'add' and subsequent files you add with the 'join' button (so NOT the add button, you only use that for the first file). I used the default settings which will output a .ts file, which Openshot can load just fine.

I don't know how you do it but I sure like to know because when I drop MTS files in a non-linear video editor like Openshot the files don't get properly merged/stitched. There is always a second or two where the transition between one and the next MTS file isn't properly done; the video stutters and the audio drops. So right now those files have to be merged each time before editing the recording (i.e. the totality of all files).

Although the merge field options are different on AMS360 than they were on AfW, most of your Merge Fields will convert. After running the Merge Template Converter, you will need to do some additional steps to make the Form Letters and Merge Templates fully useable. 2351a5e196
