Effective date: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how handles information when you use PDF Manager Pro.
PDF Manager Pro helps you find, read, scan, create, merge, split, protect, organize, and share PDF documents on your Android device.
1. Our Privacy Approach
PDF Manager Pro is designed to process documents locally on your device.
We do not operate a cloud document-storage service. Your PDF files, scanned documents, images, file names, and PDF passwords are not uploaded to our servers.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process limited device and advertising information as described in this Policy.
2. Documents Processed by the App
When you use PDF Manager Pro, the App may process:
- PDF documents stored on your device;
- Images selected for conversion to PDF;
- Images captured while scanning documents;
- File names, locations, sizes, dates, and page information;
- Passwords entered to lock or unlock supported PDF files;
- Settings and preferences stored by the App.
This information is used only to perform the document operation you select.
Your documents are not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
3. Local Storage
PDF Manager Pro stores created and edited files locally on your device or in a folder selected by you.
Files remain on your device until you delete them. Removing the App may not delete documents previously saved to Downloads, Documents, shared storage, an SD card, or another external location.
You can manage these files using PDF Manager Pro or your device’s file manager.
4. All Files Access
On supported Android versions, PDF Manager Pro may request the All files access permission.
This permission supports the App’s core document-management functions, including:
- Finding PDF documents across device storage;
- Displaying local PDFs in a searchable list;
- Opening PDF documents from different folders;
- Renaming and organizing PDF files;
- Reading file details;
- Selecting files for merging, splitting, locking, or unlocking;
- Saving processed documents to user-accessible folders;
- Sharing documents selected by the user.
The Storage Access Framework requires users to select individual files or folders manually and cannot provide complete automatic PDF discovery across multiple storage locations.
All files access is used only for on-device PDF discovery and document-management operations. It is not used to collect files for advertising, and document contents are not provided to Google AdMob.
The App is designed to work with supported document files and does not intentionally inspect or process unrelated personal files.
You can revoke this permission at any time through Android settings. Automatic document discovery and some file-management functions may stop working if access is revoked.
5. Camera Access
Camera permission is requested only when you choose to scan a paper document or capture an image.
Camera images are processed locally to create PDF documents. PDF Manager Pro does not activate the camera in the background.
You can deny or revoke camera permission through Android settings. Document scanning will not work without camera access.
6. Photos and Media
The App may request access to photos or media when you choose images to convert into a PDF.
Where supported, PDF Manager Pro uses the Android photo picker so that you can select specific images.
The App does not upload selected images to our servers.
7. Notifications
PDF Manager Pro may request notification permission to:
- Report that a document operation has finished;
- Show the status of a long-running file operation;
- Provide useful App reminders or updates.
You can disable notifications at any time through Android settings.
8. Advertising with Google AdMob
PDF Manager Pro uses Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
- Android Advertising ID;
- App Set ID and other device identifiers;
- App name and version;
- Device manufacturer, model, language, and operating-system version;
- App launches, ad views, clicks, and other interactions;
- Advertising impressions and performance information;
- Crash, diagnostic, and SDK performance information;
- Information used to prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising traffic.
Google may use this information to deliver advertisements, measure advertising performance, limit repeated ads, detect fraud, maintain its services, and—depending on your choices—personalize advertising.
Google processes this information according to its own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google Uses Information from Apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google Advertising Policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com/
PDF Manager Pro does not provide your PDF documents, scanned images, file names, document passwords, or document contents to AdMob.
9. Personalized Advertising
Depending on your region, device settings, Google account settings, age eligibility, and consent choices, AdMob may show personalized, non-personalized, or limited advertisements.
Personalized advertising may use advertising identifiers, inferred interests, general location, and previous advertising interactions.
Non-personalized advertising is not based on a personalized advertising profile. However, limited information may still be processed for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
You can manage advertising choices by:
- Using the privacy options displayed inside the App;
- Visiting https://adssettings.google.com/;
- Resetting or deleting your Advertising ID in Android settings;
- Disabling ad personalization through your Google account or device settings.
Turning off personalized advertising does not remove all advertisements.
10. Consent in Europe
Where required, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a privacy or consent message before eligible advertising data is used for personalized advertising.
The message may allow users to:
- Accept or reject personalized advertising;
- Review advertising purposes and providers;
- Change privacy choices;
- Withdraw previous consent.
Users may reopen the privacy options available in the App to review or change their choices.
When personalized advertising is rejected, Google may still process limited information required to display non-personalized or limited advertisements, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
11. Sharing Documents
PDF Manager Pro lets you share documents using other apps installed on your device.
A document is shared only after you select the file and start the sharing action. Once a file is sent to another app, service, or person, it is handled according to that recipient’s privacy practices.
We are not responsible for files you intentionally share with third parties.
12. When Information May Be Disclosed
Information may be disclosed:
- To Google AdMob for advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention;
- When you intentionally share a document;
- When required by applicable law or legal process;
- When reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents;
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the developer, or the public;
- During a business transfer, merger, or acquisition, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
We do not sell or rent your PDF documents, images, scans, or document passwords.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Documents
Documents and images processed by PDF Manager Pro remain on your device until you delete them.
You can delete them using:
- PDF Manager Pro;
- Your device’s file manager;
- Another document-management application.
Files saved outside the App’s private storage may remain after uninstalling the App.
App Data
You can delete local App settings, cache, temporary files, and preferences by clearing PDF Manager Pro’s storage through Android settings or uninstalling the App.
Advertising Data
Advertising information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies. We do not control data stored directly by Google.
You may manage eligible advertising information through Google Ads Settings, your Google account, Android privacy settings, and the privacy controls available in the App.
Support Messages
If you contact us, we may retain your email address, message, and voluntarily provided information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Please do not send confidential PDF documents in support emails unless necessary.
14. User Accounts
PDF Manager Pro does not require users to register or create an account.
We do not maintain an online document profile associated with you. Therefore, there is no PDF Manager Pro account requiring a separate account-deletion request.
If account functionality is introduced later, this Policy will be updated and appropriate account-deletion controls will be provided.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the App.
Document processing takes place locally to reduce unnecessary transmission. Google states that information transmitted through the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
No storage or security system is completely secure. You should protect access to your device, maintain backups of important documents, and use strong passwords for sensitive files.
Password protection cannot guarantee that a PDF will never be accessed using specialized recovery tools or software vulnerabilities.
16. Children’s Privacy
PDF Manager Pro is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to us, contact us and we will review the request and delete the information where required.
17. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access personal information;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion;
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Withdraw consent;
- Request data portability;
- Opt out of certain targeted advertising or data sharing;
- File a complaint with a data-protection authority.
Most information handled by PDF Manager Pro remains locally on your device and can be accessed or deleted directly by you.
To make a request concerning information controlled by us, contact [Privacy Email Address]. We may need to verify your request.
Information controlled by Google must be managed through Google’s privacy and advertising tools or by contacting Google.
18. International Processing
Google AdMob operates internationally. Advertising-related information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence.
Google is responsible for the safeguards it applies to data processed through its services, as explained in Google’s privacy documentation.
Support communications may be processed in the country or region where the developer operates.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, permissions, advertising services, data practices, or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published at the same location with an updated effective date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before making material changes.
