The Program Management Section (PMS) spearheads the strategic programming and targeting of social welfare and protection programs of the Ministry. This team leads the formulation of performance targets, program design, and implementation guidelines aimed at realizing the organizational and foundational outcomes of the Ministry.
The PMS is responsible for formulating strategic plans that meticulously align with the identified strategic priorities and goals of the Ministry. By spearheading program-wide planning initiatives, it ensures that outputs and indicators are strategically positioned to contribute effectively to the broader objectives of the organization.
The PMS facilitates the consultations and discussions across the inter-units and inter-programs, spearheading the operational planning, preparation of Work and Financial Plans, procurement plans, and reporting compliances of social welfare and social protection agendas ensuring leveled-off targets and implementation across all units. The team works closely with various units such as the FMSSD, AMSD, PSWD, DRMD, among others.
The team is tasked in the conduct of program implementation reviews of budget and physical target measures ensuring efficient operationalization of resources and achievement of program objectives.
