Knowledge Management and Policy Development Section

The Knowledge Management and Policy Development Section (KMPDS) champions the promotion of continuous learning and improvement agenda within the Ministry.

The team is dedicated to enhancing knowledge-sharing and policy-development within the Ministry. By harnessing documented knowledge and information throughout the program implementation cycle, the KMPDS contributes to the MSSD's refining program design, implementation process, and policy-making initiatives.

The KMPDS plays a significant role in providing the necessary knowledge and insights to drive the formulation, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies aimed at addressing social welfare and development of the Ministry.

Management of Knowledge Platforms

KMPDS facilitates the seamless collection, storage, and sharing of existing knowledge within the Ministry. This involves implementing integrated systems or portals that streamline access to information, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that valuable insights are readily available for decision-makers.

Knowledge Development and Promotion

KMPDS is responsible for developing and promoting knowledge resources, products, facilities, and platforms. These efforts are geared towards creating a collaborative and dynamic environment for knowledge-sharing within the Ministry.

Research and Development Initiatives

KMPDS assists in the Ministry's research initiatives and the implementation of development agenda. This includes initiatives like total quality management, process improvement, and benchmarking. Through its research and policy development support, the KMPDS contributes to the Ministry's continuous program and policy improvement agenda.
