Co-Designing Community Networks in Diverse Contexts: Bridging the Gap between Internet Infrastructures and Community-Centred Design

Workshop takes place physically 

We invite you to participate in a one-day workshop aimed at cultivating a global network of professionals with expertise in both the technical and social aspects of community networks. This workshop is intended for stakeholders involved in the development, implementation, and advocacy of Community Networks, including technologists, policymakers, community organizers, financial experts and researchers. Participants will explore the intersection of technology, community empowerment, and sustainable development.

·      Analysing governance in network infrastructure.

·      Exploring diverse networking perspectives.

·      Understanding political and economic factors influencing networking practices.

 

Outputs:

·      A comprehensive bibliography and a collection of resources for future work.

·      A shared agenda outlining goals and challenges.

·      A framework for ongoing collaboration.
