Buwan ng Wika in English Language Month.is a festival in the Philippines held every August. This is the extended celebration of Language Week extended on January 15, 1997 by Proclamation No. 1041 by former President Fidel V. Ramos. Language Month is often celebrated in schools. In connection with this, many events are held to celebrate it, such as simultaneous recitation, recitation, making slogan, making essays reciting poems, dancing folk dances and singing folk songs.
