This course is taught by gaming industry expert, Mark DiStefano. With over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry as a Table Games Dealer, Floor Supervisor, Surveillance Training Manager, Corporate Table Games Strategy Manager, and Casino Training & Tournament Manager, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to the table from both Casino Operations and Surveillance perspectives. He has also held positions in higher education including Hospitality Department Chair, Casino Management Program Director, and Professor. In his career, Mark has trained hundreds of students in Casino Dealing and Casino Management. Mark has drafted Standard Operating Procedures for new property developments, and has extensive experience training Table Games and Surveillance teams. In his career, Mark has opened three Las Vegas Strip megaresorts, consulted casino Surveillance teams on casino game protection and standard operating procedures, and has presented at the World Game Protection Conference. Mark has an in-depth, expert knowledge of all Table Games including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, European Roulette, Pai Gow Tiles, Pai Gow Poker, and several specialty games. Currently, Mark is employed with Resorts World Las Vegas as the Casino Divisional Training and Tournament Manager, and is the hiring manager for Casino Operations. Mark holds an undergraduate degree in Gaming and Casino Management and a Master of Business Administration.
